The thing about weighing yourself on a scale is that it includes everything - bones, muscle, fat, water, partly digested food...the lot. So it can be tricky to say where the loss is. It sounds like your body is going into starvation mode and the weight loss may be just water weight. You need to eat otherwise your body goes into starvation mode and holds on to fat because it doesn't know when the next meal is coming.
