  • I gained weight through the menopause. Then followed hormone driven breast cancer, with no boobs I can see my belly, I would preference to see my toes LOL. I have decided to go low carb as cancer 'loves sugar" so this WOE has to be a permenant life change for me, but so want to lose some LB's

  • Hi, I put on 14lb in a year!! Definitely through the menopause now & have started the 4:3 diet, going well so far & my energy levels are on the rise, good luck with what ever you do. Once your through all the menopause symtoms you will feel better!
  • Just draw a line under it, back on track!! I personally save a couple hundred cals a day to use at the weekend "simples"
  • You don't need a specific meal plan, just measure & log your food on here, keep processed food to a minimum, cook your own meals. I always cook in batches, I then freeze & use as required. I'm also on about 1500 today I'm having B= 2 poached eggs 2 bacon medallion & mushrooms L= homemade carrot &lentil soup 1slice bread…
  • Your breaking bad habits & make healthier ones. Once you are a few weeks in things will be easier. I found when I was tempted, I'd eat it then feel cr@p & beat myself up about it. I keep that memory with me, I don't want to feel like that so I don't over indulge. I plan everything meals first, then what's left for salty…
  • Cravings only last 20 mins max, so if you don't have cr@p in the house your less likely to go buy it, by the time you get to the shop the craving will have gone
  • If it's within your calories & you like it, why change.
