You need to be eating around the 2800 cal mark, and do gentle exercise such as walking to start off with. I started on 1200 cals but after reading up on it and listening to advice on the forums, I upped to 1750 a day. My weight has steadily decreased since upping my cals and I'm never hungry, nor do I feel deprived...not…

I have bought a fitbit flex to track my sleep (my husband uses it for the fitness side! lol) and it shows just how appalling my sleep pattern is. My sleep is broken every 20 mins or so and the bags under my eyes...well let's just say that a weeks shopping or more would fit in them! lol  I sympathise when you say…

Thanks, I was asking simply because I do not go to the loo that often...perhaps once every 10 days (sorry if tmi lol). Quite a few ppl on the boards were saying how fantastic whole psyllium husk is but it seems my insides must be dead cos nothing has changed for me.

Hi and thanks for your help and replies :) I am 5ft 8, 42 and approx. 50lbs over weight. I lost 5lbs in the days before I joined MFP, so in total 13lbs (I'm ignoring the 2lbs gain until I see if its water retention etc). I am burning approx. 250 cals a day in exercise and am not eating any back whatsoever. I have never…

I changed my weight loss target this morning to 1lb a week and my calorie goal has gone up by 300 cals a day, which I am going to use for Natures Skittles...unfortunately I don't think that the pic shown is less than 300 cals but I can't have everything! Lol ;-D Thanks everyone...my true newbie self has come out in all…

I'm not averse to carbs...on reading my diary it's clear that I like them rather a lot!lol Everyday my carbs and protein are maxed out...so can't add anymore meat either! I like home made oven…
