Yep thats true! Eating more than I burn! I don't need to tweak my plan as what I was doing was working great for me...it was when I stopped working out/logging that I had gained. I only have been lazy to blame and i'm done with that!! :)

Maybe have a few tablespoons of peanut butter? that will definitely add about 100 cals per tablespoon. Sorry just noticed you said no nuts..hmm what about bacon? salami? ground beef?

I have a 6 inch sub from subway several times a week. I usually get the chicken breast on wheat with lettuce, tomato, onion, hot peppers and honey mustard. Usually around 400 cals. I figure as long as I stay within my numbers then i'm fine...and i've lost 26lbs so far.

Happens to me sometimes. It's most likely not 1 pound of fat...1 pound is nothing, I can gain 1 pound from drinking my morning tea and lose 1 pound from going to the bathroom lol. I don't know for sure but it's probably water weight. (I am speaking from my own experience). I only weigh myself once a week as well but only usually 2 weeks a month. The week before my period and during I do NOT weigh myself as I am ALWAYS (alwayss!!) up about 3-5 pounds but it falls off at about 4 days after my period…

You didn't gain 3lbs. It's water weight for sure. I weighed myself last night then again this morning after going to the bathroom and I dropped 3.5lbs. It's hard for me to do 1200 a day. The way I make it work is about 1600 a day and I do a 400 cal workout = 1200 net. I've always ate back ALL or almost all exercise calories and i've lost about 25lbs since August :)

Just a thought, how close are you to your monthly "friend"? One week before I can gain 5-7lbs...that won't go away until a day or two before it's over. Also, I suggest maybe not weighing yourself everyday. I'd go friggin nuts if I did that, my weight changes after I have 1 cup of tea lol. A few pieces of candy isn't going…

Great post but love this part. My weight goes up and down constantly throughout the day I swear haha. I only weigh myself once a week and If I don't feel good I won't...my last weigh in I didn't weigh myself for 3 weeks then checked and I lost 2.5lbs in those 3 weeks :) Felt better that I waited.

Hey! :) I didn't start the same day but I quit smoking first, quit about 6 months ago, started diet and exercise about 5.5 weeks ago...it takes a lot of dedication but you'll feel so much better, just don't deprive yourself TOO crazy with food, eat the things you like but in MODERATION and try to incorporate more veggies…
