I'm 5'7" and currently 183lbs. In 2011 I was 250lbs. It took me nearly 2 years to get to 160, mostly using MFP. The key to MFP is being 100% honest with yourself- track everything! My top tips- #1 Use a food scale! It makes life so much easier than using measuring cups and estimating. #2 Eat off of smaller plates, bowls,…

Kale chips! http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/03/baked-parmesan-kale-chips.html I also sneak it into salads. When it blends in with lettuce, tomatos, cucumbers, etc the taste is a little more tolerable than eating it on its own.

For me it was knees, elbows, wrists, upper shoulders... I noticed that I could feel these bones more than I could with the few extra pounds.

I'd say 4oz = 200 calories. i checked the label the other day for 2 different kinds. One said 200, the other said 210. The nutritional info is usually on the bottom of the package. I ate some the other day because I can't resist it... kept track of it, it made me happy, and no weight was gained!

All fruit frozen: 1 banana (cut into chunks and then freeze for easy blending) 1/2 cup mango 1/2 cup pineapple 1 cup of kale about 1/2-1 cup of water to get it all to blend Taste so good and fruity, definitely my go-to breakfast smoothie!! It's about 140 calories.

It was my first 5k and it was really fun and I do not regret it! It's a happy, care-free zone and everyone is just trying to get to the finish line. There were many people walking and a lot of people with young children. Some tips: My undergarments somehow got exposed to color during the run. This stuff washed out after…

Congratulations everybody!!! I lost my weight slow and steady over the last 2 years. I'm still trying to lose another 10 pounds (I am half a pound away from having a "healthy/normal" BMI after having been classified as "obese")... or at least trying to tone up because things got loose. But I am definitely happier and…

I do and I love it! I notice that a lot of MFP entries have things measured per 100g. So I'll have like 55 grams of grapes, for instance, and log it as .55 of a serving of 100g. Definitely a great way to be accurate and it's so easy. I tell everyone I know who wants to lose weight to buy a food scale.
