Sounds like you are on a great run right now. I am a 5'7" 188 lb guy trying to get to 150-160 depending on my bf%. I started at 203. I am eating between my BMR and TDEE which means I am shooting to net between 1800-2200 every day. So far it has been working and I have been losing about 2-4 lbs per month consistently. I do…

Here is a whole different way to look at it. Get a fitbit (one, flex, whatever) at Best Buy and just use it every day before you go on vacation. Try to get at least 10,000 steps in a day and you will just feel different going into the vacation.

Someone I know who was really heavy all his life until his sixties then he agressively lost about 80 lbs and looked great. He told me: "I wish that I had started doing this 20 years ago... I will never get those years back and I use that feeling as motivation for me to keep at it now"

I use a Polar FT7 and I was able to get it up and running after purchasing it at Best Buy within minutes. It has just enough features and works really reliably. Note... Many have found that calorie estimates on many HRMs are "inflated". I am trying to find out if I can enter my height, age, and current weight into my FT7.…

Good topic. I am a little bit older and am also in the obese category. I weigh 190 and my goal is between 150 and 160 too. I try to mix it up 1. Stationary bike 2. Jog 200 steps / walk 300 steps 3. Elliptical 4. Kettlebell workouts This saves my knees long enough so that I can run every other day. It is slowly but surely…

I am really impressed with your desire to get better. We are all behind you. I am sending a friend request. One thing however... and this is important... To eat less calories you don't need to check any recipes... Set a good level of calories and eat at that. You will probably find you eat a lot simpler. Keep reading all…

To answer your question... you can get them with only cardio... but it may take longer. But... I want to mention something else..... Let me first make the disclaimer that I have never had ABs and that is what I want eventually. Well... doing the numbers backwards. And I will make a lot of assumptions here. Your goal is 134…
