I just had this alternate universe vision of a instead of Taco Bell / KFC pairs... Taco Bell was paired with Buffalo Wild Wings! (I can hear the whole town screaming the next morning &^%$%#$^%$!!!) :drinker:

@redzgal - So well said! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: I wish I could go back in time to myself 15 years ago and just "shake myself up". I actually used to fast for 24 hours at a time and then eat only 500 calories the next day. It is a wonder I am alive LOL!

I have a flex and it really keeps me moving. I also was in Denial.. but the fitbit doesn't lie. I have only been really seriously "at it" for two months.. but so far so good. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1341254-not-new-but-enjoying-the-journey-and-not-starving-myself

@K80 - Thanks so much.. All I hope is that someone who is eating less than 1000 calories per day and thinking that is the "only way" sees this and thinks: "hmmmmmmm....."
-
@Rhys... you know what is funny... there are still days where I fall into the trap of wanting it too quickly .... it is a lot of give and take!
-
Thanks for starting this challenge! :drinker:

@thanks everyone!

1 Day 19 to go Ran 1.0 miles without stopping However, my pace was 17:55 ( I am going to be honest about my sloth pace so other people won't feel that they aren't fast enough.. nobody is slower than I am LOL) Plus walked 3.5 miles just to get in the burn.

4.5 miles today - 1.0 running without stopping - Let's get this party started:drinker:

I am just so happy for you... this is fantastic!
-
@cahf - Right on - I was so wrapped up in a number and getting all worried about how long It would take. I now am "diverting myself" by setting all these little physical goals to distract me so I don't get slaughtered by a bad scale day LOL. Good luck.. you can do it!
-
And now you are getting to bulk! woo hoo!
-
I can't wait! :drinker:

@Speedy - Thanks you have always been a great encouragement - I swear you keep the move your @ss thread going with your energy! - it's great! @Sharon - I hear you I aspire to be a "mean" person here someday... well maybe at least a real brusque and curt good information giver LOL. @Okami - You nailed it right on the head -…

You can do this. You are doing it for your own self respect and I applaud you!

The good news I have found that when I log everything... even days I go over by 1000 or 2000.. I don't get too upset around it because I know that I can compensate. Before I used to yo-yo from VLCD to Binge and back... it was awful!
-
I haven't looked into it too much to understand the math.. but I found that if I set my calorie goal higher in MFP, every time I would synch with the fitbit it would would actually take away more calories. I thought about it and realized.. that there was a big discrepancy. I then set my goal in MFP lower and now the fitbit…

Good constructive post. Just bumping so I can save, read, and learn! :drinker:

I am marking because the orange jello pineapple thing sounds too awesome!
-
^^^ This - Just about everything SodaKat said. I make sure that I let the fitbit do the cardio exercise bit and if I do anything like stationary bike where I am not wearing the fitbit... I enter that on MFP - but I really "sandbag" the burn. Days where I am taking it easy the fitbit actually subtracts calories to adjust…

@peachy Great Avatar - Always love a purple mane!
-
@cupcakes, @mammahawk, @gardengirl - Thanks for the reinforcements. I think there are a lot of people here (maybe not positing so much) that are just "doing their thing", reading the posts, and applying it. Let's do this! :drinker:

I have learned to love cat gifs! Seriously ( I am just messed up in the head) And I have learned to quit starving myself: I didn't put this weight on overnight and I am not going to take it off overnight http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1341254-not-new-but-enjoying-the-journey-and-not-starving-myself

Great Thread! I used to love running.... 20 years ago when I was literally 70 lbs lighter. Everytime I would try to get back into it at this weight (190 lbs - Goal around 155) I would be miserable. Why: 1. I couldn't go fast and I would shuffle 2. My knees would hurt. Finally I put my "pride aside" and started jogging /…

Sometimes if I let my self get too hungry I become a bottomless pit. What usually does it for me is to have some ready prepared chicken in the fridge. Just a few ounces of that keeps me full for a long time. Also if I really need to "put the brakes on" I put a tablespoon or two of olive oil and mix it with the chicken..…

I keep seeing posts every day where people say "I would like to lose 15-20 lbs this month". What is sad is that I used to go "cool... how can I do it too!". Of course its possible, but at what price.
-
Great Job - I always love to see the transformations! Especially when it is so clear you are REALLY fit! :drinker:
-
Thanks - It really takes a while to get in that "long term" mindset!
