i had the same problem with a belt to go around my waist that came with a dress i bought when i was about 40 lbs heavier. i'm nearly two inches smaller than the first hole! instead of getting rid of it i just poked a new hole in it. problem solved :)

when you reply to a thread, it puts the thread back in the first page, up at the top if it is the most recent thing replied to. it's to make sure it stays current and more people see it, so it doesn't get lost in the mire!

i love adding dark chocolate cocoa powder to mine, as well as some pumpkin spice, and usually some peanut butter as well. may sound like a strange mixture but i love it.

Stevia extract is great. Some of the powdered stevia sweeteners have other stuff added, so I go with the extract. It's 100% natural, just the stevia plant leaves soaked in a mixture of alcohol and water. Trader Joe's has a good one, it's a bottle with a little dropper, and all you need for a bowl of oatmeal or a cup of…

this is my issue too. i've struggled with binging and emotional eating, and when i eat a trigger food (mainly carbs/starches and sweets/pastries, of course!) i feel like it makes me want to eat every bad thing in sight. kind of ruins my day and is VERY, VERY hard to reign in once it takes hold. so, i really have to try my…

first in the face, last in the lower abdomen and inner thighs (which of course i want to go FIRST! lol).

unless i'm pressed for time, in which case i'll only do cardio, i do cardio and strength on the same day.

god i used to love those things. so glad i stopped eating dairy or else i'd be in serious trouble.

^^ exactly.

Bianca Del Rio's the BEST! She deserved that win. My favorite quote from her is still when she said "You know that girl gremlin? Don't get water on that gremlin, it will multiply." Lol.

um, excuse me? this is a website for people looking to manage their weight and get in shape. this is a positive place. not the place to criticize or insult at anyone for their bodies. i'm sure a large percentage of the members of this site, myself included, have experienced enough of that in real life.

when it's cardio i always focus on calories burned. for me time only factors into cardio if i'm using it to do interval training.

when i started losing weight i decided to become vegan, not only for ethical and health reasons but because i believed it would aid in my weight loss (and i 100% believe it has!). i ate and still eat mostly fruit and vegetables, about 2/3 of my daily intake i would say. i eat oatmeal for breakfast every day, with some…

lolol. love this movie.

ooh, cool! i'm vegan so i'll definitely try to give these a try :) i'll just substitute the egg w/ silken tofu.

i think deksgrl was commenting on the fact that you look like you don't need to lose 64 lbs. if you do lose, it looks like you should lose at maximum half or a third of that. you look like a normal weight. personally, based on your pictures, i don't think you'll have any saggy skin.

i have always tended to sweat very easily as soon as i start up any mild to moderate physical activity. and when i do my more intense cardio at the gym -- if i don't have a towel, there are drips, EVERYWHERE. my whole back gets soaked, my arms sweat, my legs sweat. i find it embarrassing 'cause i think it looks gross...…

oh god, thigh rub was the WORST. i knew that whenever i wore a dress or skirt and was going to be walking a lot, i'd be sore by the end of the day. i'd even plan around it if i could to not wear a skirt or dress if i'd be walking a lot. even if i wanted to wear one! i'd wear holes in my jeans....it'd be so embarrassing,…

i love peanut butter so much too it's ridiculous. i have it every day. and i admit more than a few times i have had a tablespoon or two more than i should (and for the brand i like, at 110 cals per tbsp you can see how that can add up :O ). sometimes it'll make me go over on my cals and bring me into the maintenance or…

i know your EXACT issue, i even made a topic about it a few days ago. one guy, ndwildbill, had some really good advice on there. the topic is http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1457428-the-death-of-your-heavier-self if you want to see. i've always been overweight/obese since i was a kid, and in the last year have gone…

depends on the exercise. since i know it's most reliable for steady-state cardio, i still take a bit of caution and take 50 calories off of what the final count my HRM gives me, then eat back everything else. if it's intermittent cardio i know the HRM is going to be a lot more inaccurate and i'll take off close to 100. (i…

i'm 5' 4" and i've lost 71 lbs (started before using MFP) :)

wow, that sounds powerful. i should try it.

make kale chips! VERY easy to make and the possibilities for seasoning/dressing them up are endless (well, almost, lol). there are a lot of recipes online.

generally speaking i do eat what i want as long as it will fit into my calories and some of my other macros. i try to limit my consumption of processed foods, though, 'cause i just feel it's better for my body.

when i eat out, before i eat anything i eyeball what is on my plate and write down in my phone about how much of each food is on there. for your sandwich, start with the bread. what kind of bread was it (or if you don't know, make your best guess)? how big were the slices? if it was focaccia, for example, i'd do a search…

I'm vegan, and Garden of Life raw protein powder is great for me, I use it whenever i need a bit more protein to get in for the day, especially after a workout (which is supposedly the best time to get in your protein).

24 years old, 5' 4" SW: 192 lbs (started losing weight before I started using MFP) CW: 121 lbs GW: ~110 - 115 lbs, I have a small frame. But i also want to do some body recomp to build some muscle so i may end up being higher.

it's awful to think i'm going to have to live with this for two more years. i basically look pregnant! ugh. i can just hope it'll start to look better before then.
