I assume you can resolve this problem through proper meal timing throughout the day, this will ensure you can enjoy foods at times you crave them.

I don't believe goal weight should be used. I recommend weight loss should continue until you begin see a desired look, more LBM ,less fat.
-
What are your goals?, 97 pound is underweight for a male of 5'2.

Anorexia is a clear indicator that harsh Repercussions such as metabolic damage have or will occur, i recommend you look into the videos posted by Layne norton on this topic. I personally have never experienced eating disorders, so i cannot exemplify my experiences.
-
How much do you weigh?, what is you TDEE?
-
Really, explain why eating 3600 calories which is a large surplus for OP(poster) will not cause fat gain.
-
If you maintain a healthy lifestyle which includes lifting weight, cardio and counting calories(Getting in you Macro and Micro- nutrients). You will likely not become obese again.
-
Thank you, for this statement. The belief of an insulin spike causing fat loss due to carb increase(Still on a deficit) is complete pseudoscience.
-
I believe 1800 calories is too little for a 5'7 217 pound male and would induce hormonal imbalances.
-
It all depend on your weight. if your 220 Lbs eating 1200 Kcals, metabolic damage will likely occur.
-
Why are you eating Low-carb?, your aware this does not have an effect on fat loss. If you are on a surplus, you will gain weight. If you are on a deficit, you will lose weight. The law of thermodynamics is as simple as that.
-
I assume you all have a similar weight and activity level. If not, eating in a large deficit will cause much more problems than you'd expect. Such as loss of sex drive, metabolic damage and increased stress.
-
I believe this would create a larger margin for fat gain, i would highly recommend a slight caloric increase weekly or bi-weekly, according to your weight.

Those sound like symptoms of metabolic damage, i recommend you watch some of layne norton's videos on this topic.
-
Do you know you TDEE(Maintenance calories)?. If so, i recommend you eat 300-400 calories in surplus in order to accumulate less fat gain.
-
What were your maintenance calories during the start of you journey?. How much of a deficit were you eating in?
