  • Fellow survivor here (colorectal cancer 2007). I was a lifelong weightlifter 220lbs at 5'10 and pretty lean when I got ill. Dropped to 190lbs during chemo/radiation and operation then ballooned up to 254lbs after treatment. Now trying to get the weight back under control, down to 235 with about 20lbs to go for the new goal.

  • I have broken my ankle severely (pins surgery etc.). It does take quite awhile for the swelling and pain to lessen. I used a sock brace for about 3 month's. As far as exercise the best I found was to hit the swimming pool for many many laps. Hope it helps.
