"Well now I'm going to be the only fat person at work. Thanks." "Your personality is different now." (Said with tone) "What pills are you taking? No one loses that much weight without pills or surgery." "You leave things on your plate because you want people to notice you're not eating." "You look sick, now." "Of course…

Honestly, the longer you stick with it, the easier it gets. Push through the hard start and you will notice it getting easier. Plan your meals in advance. I often plan them the night before and then I have no decisions to make during the day. Sometimes things crop up, but for the most part it works really well. I used to…

This is not a before and 'after' so much as a before and still progressing... I started off at 248 lbs and I'm currently 172 lbs. Before: After (aka - still progressing): Comparison:

The photos on the left are from 2012. The one on the right was taken a few days ago. I still have a way to go yet. Finally got it to work! A bit technologically challenged here! :-P

I was officially diagnosed with PCOS just over six months ago. Many of the women in my family have it. Joy of all joys. My doctor was reluctant to put me on BC, and to be honest I didn't want to go on it either. I'm lucky in the fact that I am not diabetic or insulin resistant so I don't need metformin. I was recommended…

My diary is open to my friends. Feel free to add me and all the best to you!

Absolutely! I started at a size 22 (sometimes more depending on the style) and I am now a 14. Aiming for a 12 for now if I can!

I float somewhere in between on this. I don't mind the positive-phrased comments. In fact, I find them motivating and encouraging. However, some people might need to learn a bit of tact. I had a long holiday and a few days before work I met one of the woman I work with. She said, "Wow, you've lost weight? Guess I'll be the…

Mine didn't! The first few months were hard as far as cravings go. Potato chips were my weakness - I found it so hard to stop. When I decided to lose weight, boy did I miss it. I cut them out completely for the first three months and eventually found that I just didn't crave them anymore. I've since added them in, but in…

I agree with the suggestion to up your calorie intake. I was eating at 1200 calories religiously because that is what MFP set for me and I eventually hit the wall and didn't lose anything for about 6 weeks. So frustrating! I decided to bump up my calories to 1400 and then eat back half my exercise calories on top of that…

Does this help at all? From what I gather, no you can't scan and save, but you can save the item as a meal instead. http://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/questions/5176537

To start with I thought you were listing things you like to mix on toast. I was slightly horrified till I got to the 'or'! :-P

This! Yummy.

I started at 248 lbs and am now down to 194. Feel free to add me if you like! I've been here for 5 months-ish. I log every day.

I also have been diagnosed with PCOS, so this is so inspiring to me. I was told that I would always be overweight because of PCOS, and not to expect that to change. Thanks so much for posting this. You were stunning before, but you look absolutely fabulous now! Congratulations on all your hard work!

True story. I don't think I would buy almond juice....sounds foul lol.

I love milk. Always have. Before I started on here, I could easily drink 4 or 5 big glasses a day, sometimes more. We went through milk really quickly in my house! Once I started on here, I realised how many calories I consumed in a day just with milk. I have milk very occasionally now, mainly because it is a slippery…

This is such a gross way to look at it lol. I've lost 200 sticks of butter.

I know how this feels, and I so admire your courage in posting this. I had a very similar thing happen to me a about 5 years ago but I was never brave enough to tell anyone. I was coming home from the gym and a car load of young (probably 16ish year olds) rolled down the windows and yelled things at me. When they drove…

Wow! You look beautiful. Congratulations.

September goal weight: 105 kg SW: 111 kg CW: 105.7 kg I have met my goal of logging my food every day, but I need to improve my water intake goal still.
-
I'm looking to lose about 30 kg at the moment, but if I'm honest I have a lot more than that to lose. I'm going this alone at the moment, so a group would be great!

Starting weight: 111 kgs Goal weight for September: 105 kg Personal goal: I have just started on MFP so my goal is to remember to log everything in and stick with it! I am notoriously bad at making sure I am hydrated. I don't drink anything bad, I simply don't drink! So my goal is to carry my water bottle around with me…
