I agree. Let it out. Loudly, violently and find someone awesome you can vent to.

What she said. Bang on!

It doesn't matter what your dreams may be or how impossible they may seem. Whatever they are, they can come true.

Retaining wall is tough. replacing the existing wall with new treated pine sleepers would be the cheapest option. They even have these steel posts to make it even easier (no drilling, screwing or nailing)…

Why do we bag people because of what they do/don't eat? Each to their own Secondly, I don't give a **** what celebs eat. Love Elvis, not going to eat fried PB and Banana Sangas

I agree, swiss ball as a chair will help your core. Yard duty...just walk...pace walk like a crazy person, control those kiddies. even offer to take yard duty of some other teachers if you are free. Squats however are the best exercise you can do, need no space and can do them anywhere.

I was using that as an extreme example. But you can see my point, many people will rely just on calories and as long as they are under they feel they are doing well. What is more important is the correct balance of protein, carbs and fat. I have seen people throw calories out the window and focus on Paleo and really trim…

Also, not sure if the meetings down here in OZ are different, but there is no telling the class what to do, when to exercise, you gotta buy this. From what I have been told it is much like the MFP forums were people put up ideas, findings etc. We don't even have any WW products in our house.

I am cheering for both. Firstly....I do not use WW. Majority of my weight loss came from watching nutrition pre MFP. I use MFP as a tracker and a pool of advice, routines and support. I have seen some amazing results with WW. My wife has lost over 30% of her body weight, become fit and healthy, formed better smarter eating…

Neat, on the rocks ANYTHING OR Vodka, Soda and fresh lime juice.

Mini sushi rolls, light cheese, vegie tray and fruit salad. Not just for the adults but the kids too. My kids always go for the fruit and vegie plates at parties.
-
try ditching all sweetners and going freshly ground coffee from an espresso or plunger. Fresh ground coffee is not bitter and is super yummy

Well done mate. Don't beat yourself about about the scales. you can lose 3kg of fat and put on 2kg of muscle....only 1kg loss right??? 3 belt holes is a much better gauge. Keep it up

No way, if your hungry...... eat. Just make smart food choices.

Not in the same boat here, but feel free to add a fellow aussie. Your best bet is strength training. Weights/body weight stuff. Go heavy if you want to get nice and toned and have no fear of bulking up. It's too hard for women to bulk up naturally. Good luck!

Men are possessive creatures. He feels as if this guy is a threat to him. It doesn't matter if he is or not, your husband just sees it like that. The more your husband goes to the gym and sees that it is just idle chit-chat, the more he will relax.

Sydney here, always happy to talk to fellow Australians

Provided all the stats are in the HRM go off that. That heart rate for a long exercise will not kill you...(Your max suggested heart rate is about 200) Did it feel like it was tough workout? Were you breathless most of the time? Working at that intensity would be hard, but the calories would be about right.

I use the below method, it is super easy super quick and makes then super creamy. http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/tips-techniques/oatmeal-in-jars-a-week-of-steelcut-oats-in-5-minutes-143623

Totally agree, a great way to drain the tank and turn those legs to jelly.

The full body routine mentioned earlier is a great one. The deadlifts and bench press alone will see you work almost all muscles. Failing that Tabata rounds of kettlebell swings. In the four minutes it takes you will get close to 100 swings in. Tabata when done right will have you struggling for breath and looking for a…

As far as stationary bikes go, I would always use a spin bike over any other exercise bike. They have more adjustment options (handle bar height, seat height and seat distance from handlebars). With correct settings and the right resistance (never go too light), you won't get any injury. In fact my bad knees have…

Always look after your body. If you have to ease into the 30 day shred with a few days off in between, do it until you recover the next day not sore. Also stretching. I know you mentioned that you stretched before and after, but i find the cool down/stretch never enough on those exercise DVDs..(I have seen the 30 day shred…

Indian Beer Wine Cheese All of these have had to take a major holiday

I have a 20 minute stretch after each work out. If I am at the gym I relax after that with a 10 minute steam, warm shower, and yep, cold cold rinse off. I don't get sore muscles. Proof in the pudding. I don't think it is your imagination. (I haven't got the courage to have an ice bath yet)

30 day shred is great....then again so is anything that encourages more exercise. Exercise DVDs are great for a quick no brainer work out. I have a few for when I either don't want to go out, or don't want to think to hard about my exercise routine. Keep in mind though weight loss is 90% nutrition, 10% exercise. (That said…

My wife started weight watches in Feb (the same time I also started simply watching what I eat to support her) Since Feb she has lost 30kg with minimal exercise (she has a very active job however). She has also not been sucked into buying their products. Instead she adapts our meal portions and ratios and makes smarter…

Time....It takes time but you will change. I love love love water and other than tea, coffee (and booze) don't drink anything else. I have no desire for soda anymore.
