  • I'll probably be allowed to use one so long as it doesn't beep, I don't see why they would say no. Thanks! I didn't know those things tracked calories too
  • Practice a good kihap also, it regulates breathing and forces you to breathe correctly
  • A giant cheeseburger with bacon & LTO, from New London Pizza around us, some of their smothered french fries (3 cheeses, bacon and ranch!!) a coke, a snickers ice cream bar and a bag of salt and vinegar chips. I would be READY to die at that point!
  • We like to drink in the US!
  • Also, I've been tracking everything for two weeks save for this sunday. Before that, I used Calorie Count and started using this in conjunction with that and I was lazy and just inputed the calories. Calorie Count has a neat nutrition bar graph
  • I just changed my macros today, but I'm not really sure how to meet them. And thats the story of my life, too many carbs and too much fat. It seems to be all I eat, looking back on it now. Dinner has always been the biggest meal for me, and it keeps me good until late the next day. It's how I've always eaten; I have a big…
  • I always start off with the intention to, but never do! I havent lost anything in almost a month, and actually gained 3 pounds a week ago! I'm not sure what to do, i've been stuck around 146 for a long long long time
  • Cut the frozen and fast food, eat more whole fruits and vegetables, and start exercising. Even if its a half hour walk in the morning before work/school/whatever, it'll help. And if you have no time, you can squeeze in jumping jacks and push ups before bed or when you wake up...it takes 5 minutes
  • There is a cherry tree near us and our friend picked us some and dehydrated them for us. Practically nothing in calories, and the flavor and tartness take care of any hunger cravings you may get in between meals. Kale chips are wonderful, stir fry with lots of colorful fresh chopped veggies and a little bit of chicken and…
  • ^^^ Truth. I also realized I stop breathing sometimes when I spar, and holding your breathe tires you faster. Calm down and practice good breathing. It also helps you focus on your next move. It helps tons
  • practice good breathing techniques, I notived as soon as someone taught me how to breathe right (lol!) I stopped getting beat red in the face and now I just sweat like a pig. In through the nose, out through the mouth...
  • I did my pre-class warm ups at home for a while so I could strengthen up. We do 100 jumping jacks, 25 push ups, 75 crunches or 50 sit ups, 1 minute planks, and a 5 minute stretch including splits before every class. Takes like 15 minutes. Do that at home on your off days, or again when you get home after class. Do as many…

  • I currently train Tang Soo Do (orange advanced belt) and I do Brazillian Jiu Jitsu (2 stripe white belt). If you can find somewhere that teaches BJJ I suggest go for it. I know there are different branches and teachings, I'm not sure if they differ or how. We are a 3rd Generation Gracie school. I can tell you it is one of…
  • I'm in! What do we do?
  • I brush my teeth when I'm hungry, do pushups whenever my co-worker leaves the room (when it's just me and her) I do side leg raises laying in bed before I go to sleep, usually 40 each side and hold them until I can't hold my leg up anymore. I will be adding squats to my teeth brushing and hair drying routine :)
