  • Agreed. For my first half I had to run 13 miles during training. I needed to know I could do it and at the pace I wanted. The idea of running 10 miles and then still having another 30 minutes of running was pretty daunting to me.
  • I know calories burned varies based on a number of factors but I'm surprised you're so far apart. When I take classes i think the instructor probably burns less calories than me because she's in way better shape lol and she's always stopping to see what we're doing and help people.   • I make a lot of different versions but here's my current fave: 1/2c old fashioned oats 1c unsweetened vanilla almond milk 140g frozen cherries 1/2 tsp cinnamon 7 g crushed almonds Yum! :)
  • Use old fashioned oats, not quick oats. Sometimes I use quick oats if I forget to make it the night before. I make it up in the morning and its ready by the time I get to work. Also, use some liquid. You'll see that most of the recipes posted use some form of milk.
