I reward myself for every 5 lbs. Nothing huge...Nail polish, makeup item, piece of jewelry (nothing expensive) just little things here and there. Once I hit the big ones, then I plan to reward myself with something a little bigger like a new outfit, shoes, mani, pedi, etc.

Give yourself about 2 weeks and your body will get use to it. It took me a while but I get up at 6:30 and eat and get my workout in. Find a good routine you like so that you'll want to wake up and do it. It will get easier.

Count me in please! I am motivated as ever and can't wait! Thanks.

I have a 2 and 3 year old. They usually get up around 8:30 so I get up at 6:30. I eat and work out in my family room and usually get done around the time they get up. They nap during the day for a couple hours so if I can't get my workout in in the morning, I'll do it then or after they go to bed. If this is something you…

I'm a SAHM and from what I was told, that your normal every day activities should not be logged because even though your body is burning calories, your not going "above" what your body is use to. My friend is a waitress and she was told not to log her hours on her feet cause her body is use to it. But she would be…

Early morning is about the only time I can work out. I have a 1 and 2 year old so I try to get it out of the way before they wake up. I guess I assumed you worked out in the am since you were tired all day. :blushing: I would still try to eat before and after you work out. Not a huge meal, but something full of protein and…

Half way through the week, hows everyone doing? I'm working on eating better, but no chocolate here and exercising every day! (I know my food diary says "choc strawberry smoothie" but I left the choc out... :D Good luck with the rest of this week!
-
Do you eat before you workout? I was getting up in the morning and just working out and I would be tired all day. I read that if you eat a small meal before you workout, you'll feel energized the rest of the day. I have been eating egg whites and oatmeal and have so much energy for the day. It's amazing the difference. I…

I'd like to join if it's not too late. My first challenge. I have quite a bit of weight to loose, but I'm willing to work hard at it. I've been loosing since January but started MFP just a week ago. I've down 5lbs since joining and have lost a total of 23. I would like to loose another 20 by April 1. I would really love to…
