Good luck!

I joined 35 days ago and lost a couple of kg. Decided to celebrate, with friends over a meal out and a few drinks...then weighed myself today, and I weigh more now then when I first joined...Ooops!

No thanks.

All dairy products are a good source of protein and calcium.

A realistic goal is 1.5-2Lb a week. Good luck!

All the time. I loose a few, and gain a few every week. I yo-yo like crazy. I have learned to ignore it, and have made friends with the tape measure instead. Together we will succeed.

This is all new to me.

Crepes and wraps. What are they?

Wow. Congrats. I have logged in every day for 30 days on a row, and celebrated with a meal out on Sunday. I think it's important to give yourself a treat, once in a while. So the answer to your question- give yourself a break. After a year on MFP, I think you would have a pretty good understanding of what foods you need to…

Is it like going to the sauna or the steam room? If you do it regularly, you might benefit? Mud packs cleanse and detoxifies, and so does a hot bath, followed by a cold shower.

Also if you logg everything on MFP, you'll see some numbers will change i.e. for every 10Lb you loose, 5 kcal is subtracted for each activity. So, a few more minutes, is needed on the threadmill for example, than when you where 10Lb heavier.

You are all incorrect. The fitter you get, the more you need to eat. It isn't in your mind. I have been my ideal weight all my adult life, and to loose an extra inch of my waist was practically impossible. I did arobics 16 hours a week, and swimming three times a week, and I had a 31 inch waist, and I am 5'8. Measure…

Is this the same post as yesterday?

I don't see a problem, except for when you have to logg everything on MFP. It must take all your break times, trying to logg it all!

This thread is making me feel about as young as an oven baked prune...

You could train to run the marathon.

It sounds like you might have a family history with heart problems. Well, you just have to do just like the rest of us, and logg everything you eat, and drink 8 or more glasses of water a day. Logging in to My Fitness Pal every day, can take some getting used to. Not to mention the trolls that sometimes, post in the forum.…

Eggs, Whole Milk, Full fat mild Cheddar, Chickpeas, Potatoes, Baked Beans, Oats, Cucumber, Dates, Tinned tomato, Garlic, Onions, Lemon juice, Fresh ground Coffee, Tea, Wholemeal Shredded Wheat, Wholemeal Bread, Frozen mixed veg. The list is longer, but these are the essentials.

You where doing fine on 1800 or more a day. You just have to step up your excersice routine, as you have to work a bit more to burn kcal the lesser you weigh. The fitter you get, the more excercise.

Please, make an appointment to see your health practisioner.

quote] I don't need someone trying to push crappy protein shakes on me. I already own several beach body fitness programs, which I love, but I'm not about to pay one of their pyramid scheme lackeys to try to sell me crap. [/quote] First of all, anytime you buy a Beachbody product from their site or 800#, you are assigned a…

May I suggest that some body fat is needed to keep warm. In the northern hemisphere for example it is not a good idea to be on a diet, during the coldest months of the year.
