It's not actually a group, just an old thread. There's similar motivating groups, in the group section.

And alcohol.

Tuesday and Wednesday, more walking, outside in the lovely weather. Just over 4000 kcal burnt so far, this week.

I don't run, as the impact would affect my joints, and back. However, if they start manufacturing decent footwear, I would consider using my local cycle path. I currently walk a lot along these quiet cycle paths, and should I feel the need to bounce up and down, I bring along a skipping rope.

Just take it easy, and incorporate other physical activities to your routine. Remember, a runners physique is different, from say that of a boxer. So what body type do you aim for?

Well, I'm a female in UK, and did some research for you. I hope this helps. www.menshealth.co.uk/_mobile/food-nutrition/healthy-eating/11-carbs-that-should-be-in-your-diet

The high sugar content puts me off. I only eat berries, and maybe the odd avocado. I consume 70-100g of protein a day. This is what my body needs to repair itself after each workout. A high sugar/carbohydrate content is suitable for a long distance runner/cyclist. I'm afraid that's not me, and I'd only gain weight from…

Week 7. Monday, 180min-slow walking, 2mph-654 kcal. 60min-Stationary bike-612 kcal.

I've moved to Yorkshire, after spending 25 years of my adult life in London. But, I suppose that doesn't count...

It sounds like you had a typical lunch La Bandera. Not unlike Jamaican food, and I can assure you that you did not eat 3000 kcal. Your imagination is just running wild.

I complete week six with a total of 7687 kcal. :drinker:
-
What did you eat, exactly?

It's Friday, and so far I've burned just 5041 kcal, this week. I've got some catching up to do :smooched:

I can't think...I EAT a lot every day. I SWEAT a lot every day. I DRINK a lot every day.

Congrats on your weightloss of 30lb! You look fab!

I knew a vegan (male), who was oversensitive about certain issues, to the point where I began to question his mental health. About a year ago, he decided to become a vegetarian, and within a month, I could see a vast improvement. He became more relaxed, and I almost began to like him. Human's are different, as we control…

Tuesday - a 180min leisurely walk @ 2mph. Can anyone guess how many kcal I did burn, given that I weigh 87.3kg and am 1.72cm tall female of medium build?
-
I don't know, really. I shop at Marks and Spencers, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Morrisons, Co op, Nisa, Premier, and Aldi. I spend on average about £25 on food shopping a week. My protein powder is £15 plus I eat out, at least once a week. Mac Donald's are expensive.

Or an action movie.

There's no rush.

Thank you for your input. I eat every two-three hours, when I'm most active. A total of 70g-100g of protein a day, as instructed by my health and fitness trainer.

The term detox is misleading. It's an excellent way to start the day, as it's full of wholesome nutritions. Ideal for vegan/vegetarians. www.superelevenshake.com/pages/ingredients-inside-super-eleven

Sixth week. Kick starting the week with stationary bike @ 30min- 306 kcal. Also note that my ticker is showing 2kg lost, since I started this challenge 6 weeks ago. Slow and steady, as I do not want to loose valuable muscles. At my age, they take twice as much time to develop, it seems.
-
Let me know, when you do. If, it wasn't for my old age, and work commitments...
-
Thank you. Much appreciated. By carrying a load whilst walking, I burn more kcal. I can carry up to 11kg at the moment, which is not an awfull lot, but it helps :)

Personally, I have joined groups on MFP. That way, I'm part of a network of likeminded people who support eachother. At the moment, I'm in the accountability challenge for May, and am tracking everything on MFP. I have an app, so I can logg into MFP on the go. Furthermore, my network of friends, are very supportive, and I…
