Yes it works, instead of counting cals u count points, for some reason it is just easiereasier to count points I'm on 34 a day, I've lost 4kg in 3 weeks on WW Smartpoints.

Weight loss = billion dollar industry based on bad/false science

I can't answer your question as I'm not an expert but damn I wish I had your energy!
-
Well said eld2310 and me too, I save most of my cals for dinner because that is my "dangerous time" when I know I'm super hungry at the end of the day and it's like a reward thing too, just for being "good" with my cals all day.
-
Intermittent fasting or IF. Tried it but for me 3 meals are better. Definitely not into the 5 - 6 "small" meals a day which start from small into bigger and bigger and like you, just made me feel hungrier.
-
oh heaps of advice in here, what's your first question?
-
Just for today I will stick to the plan and drink more water

Sorry that sad things have happened to you this year, I hope you heal soon. I too have had a sad year where it started I lost my dear mum in the New Year. I count cals in here coz I can do that for free without having to pay for WW & I couldn't help but think that WW is a bit of a ripoff e.g. they have products which in…

same reason why everyone else gets fat - I ate too much and didn't exercise

:drinker:

Exactly. I was always stuffing it up today then saying to myself "oh well can start again tomorrow" then the same thing would happen tomorrow so I can relate to all that you said CricketKate and you said it so well! Like it  What you have said and how you have said it has reinforced what I will be doing just for…

To the OP: The great plateau, don't we all just love it. Something has to change and I guess you're trying to find out what that change should be. I could suggest less food but who wants less food?! and we all know what starvation will do, the body cannot be tricked, it will adjust. Exercise isnt my favourite thing either…

Haven't got a lot of time for cooking so has to be quick and easy during the week - spaghetti bolognaise and salad

Eating out is very occasional for me, not every week. I don't dread eating out at all. I enjoy every single pleasurable bite but try not to eat everything on the menu or if I'm at a smorgasbord, restrict to one plate. I don't think you're crazy but yes probably obsessed, however, I think most people using this site are a…

I repeat - I am not a doctor but I do work in the medical field - for the bloating you will need to see a gastroenterologist to find out what foods may be causing this. See your GP first for a referral. You may be intolerant to some foods especially gluten.
-
I love this!

Vanity first, health second - but now that I've been diagnosed as prediabetic - it's health first, vanity second.
-
This is a great idea as my best intentions and plans for healthier living has always "restarted TOMORROW". Just for today I will stop cheating and saying to myself "oh I can always start again tomorrow"
-
See your doctor / gastroenterologist as soon as possible. It might be a gluten intolerance or a number of GI disorders, especially if there is abdominal bloating.

Here's some ideas to make your water a bit more interesting to drink but sorry that no beer is added to any of them :drinker: http://skinnyms.com/fat-flushing-recipes-flush-fat-with-these-5-delicious-drinks/

That malteser cake looks good I'm going 2 make it for special occasions only and every week is not a special occasion :drinker:

Do not become addicted to coffee, once you use it to keep yourself awake, you will be addicted to it for life like me! Limit to 2 a day and leave out the cream and sugar and after lunchtime, stop drinking coffee. Well that's what I do anyway.
-
as long as I know my sugar comes from the natural sugars in fruit, I wont worry about it. I'm also prediabetic so I have set a limit and I avoid white bread, cakes as much as possible. It's the refined sugars that are evil!
-
There are some damn good cooks in here! I'm coming over to your place for dinner tonight. The best pic I've seen so far would be the Lemon and rosemary chicken with salad and baked potato.
-
I see you. Can you see this msg? Go back into the group and can add me as a friend if you wish.
-
Hey I like the theme for this group, I could relate to it straight away as in the past my "diet" has always started "tomorrow" after each time setback. No more of that! Everything starts NOW and as of today.
-
OMG I don't blame you for feeling this way! I intensely dislike those scales but use them anyway so I can be accountable. Have you been doing your measurements? If you see yourself looking thinner though, THIS IS GOOD - it means whatever you're doing is working! Whatever you do, don't throw your arms up in the air and…

the only time I lost that much weight so rapidly in a couple of weeks was from the Shock and Trauma Diet after a very stressful and sudden marriage separation. Lost a heap of weight actually - 20kg in 2 or 3 months. Only remember eating weetbix and bananas & not much of anything else - but I wouldn't recommend this diet to…

oh I love sugar. Cupcakes are one of my favourite things. I also love fat - not too much of it or I will feel nauseous but things like pork crackling, that strip of fat on a well cooked steak with creamy peppercorn sauce, fried foods, McDonalds, cheesy crust pizza! I love salt too - as in potato chips. But then one day I…

Yeah I get sick of counting cals too sometimes and I don't always include my cals from veg or fruit - in WW they are all zero points (with the exception of avocado, coconuts, bananas limited to 2 a day). All I can say is - experiment. Stop counting cals for a month or two, eat clean as much as you prefer (because this is…
