  • I'll be annoying and bump my own thread again; given the info in my last post, would you guys stay at 1800 or up your calories? Thanks in advance!
  • Thanks for the feedback, guys; I really appreciate it! Now, a quick follow-up question: I'm definitely going to keep going forward, but given that I don't need to lose any weight (just body fat/inches) and that I'm doing strength/circuit training six days a week (about 4.5 hours a week) and HIIT once a week (about 25…
  • Anyone? I trust the opinions of everyone here so much and I'm really second-guessing myself...
  • How long have you been doing it? I hated exercise my whole life until I really made myself do it in early June--and now I get sad if I have to take a rest day. I think I am now very aware of how amazing I feel after working out while I'm still in the middle of a routine, so I'm able to enjoy those moments a lot more.
  • Too true! For the first week I did Rushfit, I could barely walk, and I basically had to fall into my chair at work since I couldn't bend that way. Now, I feel great, with very little soreness--and I almost miss it, since I took it as a sign that I was really pushing myself.
  • Looking for my twin, too! Height: 5'2" SW: 118 lbs CW: 109 lbs GW: 105 lbs UGW: 100 lbs (maybe--I'd rather have muscle and look thinner than have the number on the scale be low just to be low)
  • What's your name? Lesley Where do you live? Manhattan What are your food vices/ cheats? Really everything; I love food! If I had to pick one, I'd say bread and butter. What do you think is holding you back from being in your TOP shape? I've always been so focused on the number on the scale; at my thinnest, I was 93 pounds…
  • I'm new to EM2WL (but already seeing results!) and definitely want to add some friends--all, please feel free to add me.
  • Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, I don't have access to a gym at the moment, and I don't have room in my apartment for more than dumbells (your standard Manhattan shoebox!). Rushfit is a circuit strength training program, somewhat like P90x. Ideally, I would be lifting heavy. Since that's not an option at the moment,…
  • Interesting; that's very helpful. The Rushfit program is essentially circuit strength training (along the lines of P90x). Unfortunately, I don't have access to a gym right now, and I live in a shoebox apartment in New York, so I can't store anything larger than dumbbells. I'm upping the weight I use with Rushfit (I'm using…
  • If BMR is the bare minimum of calories you need live (i.e., if you were in a coma), wouldn't light activity take into account both exercise *and* the other non-exercise activities you do during the day (i.e., brushing your teeth, typing, etc.)? In that case, I would need to be burning something less than 3381 calories per…
