  • I have half a cup of cottage cheese with chopped carrots, celery and apple and some cinnamon and ginger almost every single day. It's quick to make, high in protein and fiber and quite tasty. The fact that I always eat the same thing prevents me from wavering as much.
  • I'm trying to go from 155-138. It's amazing how hard it is! I did really well for the first 5 pounds (from 160), but then got too excited by my success and started loosening up my dieting. I'm going to re-commit for Monday. I want to be 145 by Christmas.

It's amazing how long you can deny that you are gaining weight when you are tall. Congrats on your work out regime. Keep it up! I still…
  • Thanks for all the advice and input. I'm definitely going to use some of the tips.
  • It's super hard! I'm reading a book called the Beck Diet Solution. It teaches you how to train your brain to think better. One of the things it suggests is making cue cards that have on them all the reasons you want to lose weight, and other cue cards that give yourself positive encouragement. I know it sounds dumb, but I…

In it, it says not to be too hard on yourself. Beck says there is no such thing as over-eating, only unplanned eating. It's about training yourself to be…
