You sound just like me. I was in the 150 range also, and I lost ten and am now 147. I've been stuck there for months an finally just accepted it. But it seems like you don't want to accept it, so.... -Bump up your workouts. Kick your own @$$...do p90x. Do anything that is of higher intensity than normal. -Zig zag your…

Don't get rid of it all!! Just do it as a treat sometime. I prefer vodka, so I normalyl pair that with some low cal/sugar.
-
No. Zig zag your calories instead. You body needs a shock. Or bump up the intensity of your workouts. Or do both. :)
-
And that is all that matters. Very well put.

Nuts are a great way to fill cals and to get awesome nutrients and proteins. And of course you don't have to eat all your cals. I had a significant defict yesterday and am fine.

I am so thankful that we don't have a jamba juice here in MS...the nearest one I think is in Dallas or Florida. I wouldn't say get rid of them completley though...I mean how many people actually quit smoking cold turkey? just limit yourself on them, and don't get the massive ones. A treat every once in awhile isn't going…

Agreed on doing what you can and leaving a deficit if you have to. I didn't eat back all mine yesterday...I had a 600 cal deficit but I felt fine. I just didn't want to eat for the sake of using up all my cals.

Goodwill or any thrift store (they are everywhere now) has some GREAT workout clothes. Just make sure you wash them before you use them. For shoes, if you are using them for running, go to an actual running store where they can measure your pronation, gait, etc so you can get the right type of running shoes. Most people…

What type of clotting problem exactly, if you don't mind me asking? I have such a problem....Factor IV Leiden...but i also have May Thurners....veins and arteries collapsed in my pelvic region. I've always bruised before I had my blood clot last year and maybe the clotting problem is why. Now I bruise because of blood…

E-mealz has set plans....5 bucks a month, 5 dinners a week. I do the low fat, but there are also low carb and such. The price is great considering the whole amount of food for dinner that week only equals out to be $40! They give you the recipe, and they make the shooping list using the store you choose. The recipies are…

Ever try a calorie zig zag? Your metabolism/body has gotten used to the way you do things and you need to switch it up. Search the forums for zig zag calories for some good reccomendations. :)

I make sure to use only one at all times. i bought a brand new scale at the store when i started losing weight and only go by that. In the chance I had to go get weighed at the doctor, it was usually very close to my home scale.
-
lol anything from e-mealz. 5 bucks a month, I don't have to make a list or anything. Just print it for the week and go. I do the low fat version....time saver and money saver. :) And I love that they use all kinds of different types of food...it never gets boring.

oooooo I just went into matinence, myself. :) Feel free to add. :) And congrats on the loss!!

Right now I love the workout in Muscle and Ftiness: Hers from the May issue. I can see a lot more definition in my arms. It's a three day a week plan, and it is pretty hard. It contains a lot of the exercises above, too. But, with this workout it requires a heavier weight set...I usually use 20-25 for my arms, but you…

He's just looking out for you, but throwing it away seems kinda harsh. he could have just hid it from you. I've considered doing the same thing because the first few times I had it I was always jumping on it to see what it said. I'm a recovered/recovering exercise bulimic, and the scale is a trigger for me to work out.…

Glad you through the sodium in there. The amounts in canned soup are ridiculous.

Nobody? :(

It's your body. if you are still unhappy with the weight you are at, then you should be able to change it if you wish. It's nice for people to tell you not to get smaller; that you are alright where you are, but ultimately it's your decision. I'm glad that the people around you are supportive though...a lot of us wish we…

I was wondering the same thing about fitness mags. I want to subscribe (I read Muscle and Fitness: Hers) but I already found one workout that I like and I know that in the next issue there will be something else new and better, and 'get strong faster' that will make me re-think what I am doing. I'm glad I'm not the only…

omg greatest show EVER.

And everyone forgot about me. :(

I already eat all of my exercise calories back. Maybe my rise in cals isn't as big as I thought it was.
-
I heart you. :) I am the same way. I sitll love my Whataburger. I eat it a lot less now, but that 300 cal burger really hits the spot sometimes.

lol I told my husband gas was going to get worse when he bought his suburban....but did he listen??? Nooooooope. I'm glad I have my Audi A4.....rides like a dream and only 50 bucks for gas...:)

We are totally on the same boat, although I am on Coumadin for life. I honestly just avoid them as much as possible, because it does change your INR with even small doses. So I eat more carrots, asparagus, spaghetti squash, tomatoes (I am addicted to them). I may eat some vitamin k once a week, but only a small serving. I…

lol that's how far I am from everything. Our walmart is....dismal to say the least. I only started using the Dannon yogurt because of the e-mealz plan I am on...it was used as a substitute for sour cream. I tried the Oikos when they were out of Dannon, and I hated it. Now they don't even carry it anymore. I'll have to look…
