I know a few people that hula hoop for weight loss. But, to be honest, you would have to do up to 8 hrs a week to lose. I don't know about you, but I would get very bored with that. I actually do hoop dancing, which is more of a performance art. Check out my profile and check out my videos on you tube. Hoop dancing burns…

Congrats!!! What is your rate? I'm an AG. :)

I hate cardio. I haven't always hated it....my struggles wirh exercise bulimia turned me off to it. I do run sometimes still, but not like I used to. As for what I love...strength training. Weights, kettlebells, trapeze, aerial silks...I love pushing my strength to the limit and look forward to my next strength workout. I…

The protein limi ton MFP is too low. You should be eating 0.5-1 gram of protein per lb of body weight, expecially more if you lift weights often. I don't see anything wrong with it...it's better than soda. :)
-
If you want to get rid of it, do HIIT and eat cleaner, non-processed foods. (HIIT=High intensity Interval Training) You have to burn fat all over your body to make it go away.

Green giant valley fresh steamers. This is my favorite way to eat my veggies. Just have to be microwave. Then I also eat a fruit and a pouch of tuna.

http://www.muscleandfitnesshers.com/nutrition/other/fact-or-fiction-eating-low-fat-always-best This has a bit of info on carbs and fat and such. I've tried to cut out fast digesting carbs and try to eat slow carbs. it's hard sometimes, though.

Are you doing HIIT? For me it was adding HIIT and changing my diet to little to no processed food, tons of fruit and veggies, lower carbs.
-
For protein you should eat one gram per pound of body weight. I always go over on MFP...the settings are too low. You should eat a lot if you are strength training.
-
Diet. Eating clean helps. Limit processed food and eat tons of veggies and such.

I love the green giant valley fresh steamers (veggies). I have that and a different type of tuna flavor every day for lunch. Oh, and cheese. :)

In my opinion, none. Is it difficult for you to take time and prepare something because you work late/long hours/ etc? None of those types of meals are very good for you....heavy in sodium and heavy in preservatives. Try some of the green giant vegetable steamers instead....healtheir, low sodium, and you get your fill of…

Sugar free red bull and stoli raspberry vodka, please. :)

You can't spot treat anything. You have to burn fat over your entire body. I reccomend weight lifting and HIIT; High Intensity Interval training. 30 secs all out, 90 secs recovery.
-
Agree with this. Eat a lot of veggies and fruit. Lean proteins, nuts. But, if you do low carb, make sure you have one high carb day a week to shock your body.

Me. :)

All of those cute dresses that are tight in the waist and flair out a bit around the hips are perfect for our shape. I am a pear too and I LOVE those dresses. The key to being a pear is to take notice on your waist and above....since we have big hips (Birthing hips, my grandma says) If you define your waist and above it…

It is temporary weight loss from starving yourself with 300-500 calories a day. My mom has been doing it for awhile, but always gains back when she stops. (not to mention she doesn't look so great when she is on it....she always looks really pale.) I wouldn't do it if I were you, since it is temporary. No one can take…

Strength training is the key to lose fat. But don't give up on cardio completley. I strength train 3-4 times a week(plus a static trapeze class) and do cardio almost every day (of some sort). I still lose about 1lb a week.
-
I always do cardio after weights. Not sure what interval rebounding is, but I tend to do HIIT (High Intensity Interval training.) 30 sec all out, 90 sec recovery. I eat after. I use muscle milk powder...2 scoops is about 25g (light) or 32g (not light). :)

For the low carb thing to work, you need to allow at least one meal to be high carb; I do an entire day (within reason). Your body gets used to on certain way, then you have to change it up. That one meal helps do that.
-
I do low carb, high protein and fat, and it works wonders. It helped me break through my plateau and I sitll lose a pound a week.
-
Totally agree and very well put. :)

Good idea but I would find someway to screw this up....I'd put them in the wrong pocket or forget to put them in...(I zone out when I run) Also I can't have anything in my hands when I run. it's weird. :) I will pass it on to my friends though who run the track often. :)

I add what I drank while working out and then i drink more. I try to get at least 10 glasses a day (even though I suck at logging it) I get a lot more on hard workout days, sometimes up to 20.

it's in the aisle with the sugar, seasonings, and flour and stuff. Pretty much the baking aisle, I guess.

omg I love it. It is my crack. I love it in unsweetend almond milk, coffee, greek yogurt... I'm glad you mentioned it, because that's what I want right now. Almond milk and agave. :)

You never really overcome an eating disorder...you just learn to deal with it and control it better. I had exercise bulima with a sprinkling of anorexia. It was difficult to deal with and still affects my life everyday. I think you should go see a doctor to understand why you are doing this. They will have more insight at…

I don't do an off diet day, but I do a high carb day because I do low carb during the week. I've lost 4 lbs in the same amount of weeks. It works great for me and I get rid of the cravings I have during the week. But I agree with another poster...wait to weigh yourself. It will just make you never want to do it again.

A lot of the fitness sites have them.or, if you want something easier and you don't have to search, e-mealz is fantastic. It's $5 a month, you choose your meal plan(low carb) and whatever store you desire, and it gives you the weekly plan and a shopping list. Has saved me a ton of money too because it is all based off of…
