Wow. It said 140.2. My goal is 140. :)

Look at my diary. Veggies, fruit, lean meats, nuts. Occasional treat.

I'm going to add you because I had exercise bulimia. it's understandable to want to hide your diary. Eat back the exercise cals. I know that is going to be difficult, but it really does help to noursih your body after you have been moving around all day.

Where are you at? You can buy decent used bikes in most cities; especially ones that are big into alternative transporation. My husband and I bought two bikes for a recent Burning Man type festival and they were only 60 total. His tire had some problems but it was easily fixed. I prefer to ride bikes outside, if its not to…

I have the same thing. it really annoys me and honestly kind of creeps me out, so I find other exercises to do that work the same areas but do not have the pop.

LOVE. :P

Not so much getting rid of carbs...look at it as eating more fruits and veggies. Try one day eating 500 cals worth of veggies....you have to eat ALOT. It fills you up faster too. it's hard to get rid of the carbs, I agree. But I have been doing well for three weeks on it. it broke my plateau, and I have steadily lost 1lb a…

Agree with this. I drink unsweet tea and log it as water.

HIIT should become your new best friend. it's High Intensity Interval training. Go all out of a run, for example, for 30 secs, then recover for 90 secs. it's will put your body into 'oh *kitten*' mode and burn fat. Also, Not sure what is in your diary, but eat clean foods and lean meats.
-
It does get more difficult towards the end I think because you are just so tired of doing it. No idea on any sort of timeline, but it will take awhile. To speed things a bit, start eating cleaner. Avoid processed foods and eat tons of veggies and fruit. It got me through my plateau and I have been steadily losing a pound a…

Agreed. I hate having to search so much, and when I do find it it is still wrong and I have to keep looking. Yellow squash is a great example....Fage Greek yogurt is too. O, and finding one for a whole tomato; not sliced, diced, or anything else. Well crap, now you have me ranting.

OMG I am so adding you if you are a fire breather.

I had a blood clot last year and afterwards didn't really think much about my eating habits. Earlier this year I started to develop iron anemia, followed shortly after by a potassium deficiency. I wasn't eating what I should have been eating, and I was tired of being sick and miserable. I hated having to adjust my coumadin…

Weightlifting helps...start with small weights and work your way up...don't just stop at 10 lbs.....I use 20-25lbs. Also try HIIT. (High Intensity Interval Training.) Go all out on cardio for 30 seconds, then recover for 90 seconds. Repeat. You have to blast fat all over to get results, not just one specific area.

Agreed that breaks are good. I maintained for awhile (a month or two), let my body get used to it, then I attacked it again even harder than the last time with a change in my diet (clean eating, like you). I broke that plateau I had and am still losing.
-
Protein is very vary hard to go over. I don't agree with MFP's protein amount...I normally go over on it. If you are doing weights or anything streneous of that nature (like me, I do trapeze and aerial silks), you should be going over. Ideally, you should be eating 1 gram protein for each pound of body weight. or something…

One bad apple ruins the whole bunch. Haha, vegan humor. :) Enjoy that damn honey. I had some earlier, too. :)

Agreed. Also was skeletal when I had thighs not touching. (Exercise bulimia/anorexia). I think each body is different. I used to dislike it too...then I had a massive blood clot in my leg and after seeing it was 4 times the size it normally was, I vowed to never complain about them again.

Excellent suggestion.

Totally doing this tonight.

I eat as clean as possible but don't follow a certain 'diet plan'. It helped me break through my plateau; it has made me leaner and my abs are finally showing. Of course I do pretty vigorous workouts, too. Also I just feel better doing it...processed food makes me so sluggish.
-
Then maybe just focus on doing HIIT. You can do it in the pool, elliptical, running, walking, etc. Find something that you don't get bored with; working out shouldn't be a chore. I hoop dance and absolutley love it...before I know it 2 hours goes by. I also do trapeze/silk class and that it my tourture session once every…

Try HIIT. High Intensity Interval Training. Go all out for 30 seconds during whichever acticy you are doing, then recover for 90 seconds. As for the gut, eating clean will get rid off that along with HIIT. You have to burn that fat off before it will go away and show some abs.
-
I would probably kick it up a few notches. I do a workout from Muscle and Fitness:Hers...I typically use 15-20 lbs for arm exercises. Just because you use bigger weight doesn't mean you will bulk up. Have you ever though of doing p90x or anything of that nature? It just seems like you body might be kind of used to what you…

I've got 4 more to go. :)

As for your workouts, are you pushing yourself hard? You have to kind of put yourself out of your comfort zone to get results. Try doing HIIT; High Intensity Interval Training. Go fast for 30 secs, then recover for 90 second. Repeat. It is formatted to burn fat. Also, what size weights are you using?

From what I see in your diary (unless you aren't religious about filling it out) is that you are not even close to eating enough. Some days you only at 670! You need to focus on hitting your calorie goal WITH exercise calories. If you don't fuel your body properly, you can't lose weight. Also, stop eating processed foods;…

Why do you think MS is the fattest state in the US, two years running? I workout inside. :) This heat is too unberable.
