What your story tells me is - you value yourself. What a boost of confidence and gift to others who share your life. Thanks for sharing!

I agree. Stevia is from a leaf and is not an exitotoxicin like the artificial stuff (blue, pink, yellow stuff) that causes cell damage. Do your research. Stevia is fine if it has not been terribly processed.

Here is my suggestion because it has worked for me...every month, have a new goal for yourself for the next 12 months. For example, month 1, decide to cut back on all sugar (this was huge for me). Truvia (stevia) is what got me through the need for sugar. month 2, decide to exercise in some form 5-6 days a week for 30…

I remember about 1.5 years ago feeling like a fat cow, breathing hard, struggling to get through my work day. Asthma was getting the best of me. Today, over 52 pounds lighter and still improving, I can't believe how long I allowed myself to be so out of shape. I would say it took me about 5 months into my lifestyle change…

As soon as those "goodies" hit the nurses station, they go straight to the employee lounge where they are gone in 10 minutes flat. A picture I have in my head of someone's clogged arteries after a heart attack (In the OR) keeps me in check.

That was a GOOD one! LOL!

Flavored Stevia? Hmmmm....that's new to me. Is there a brand you like? Thanks!

That's a great question I wanted to reply to. Losing weight has stopped my feet from hurting and I don't have much asthma symptoms anymore. Do you know what that feels like not to hurt and be able to breath pretty normally - that's huge! The other day I drove my car up the street..a lady got out of the car in her early…

When I joined the Army years ago, I had to lose about 20 lbs...here is my advice if you want this bad enough. 1) For as long as it takes, don't eat out if at all possible. It's hard to add up calories that come in various forms in restaurants. 2) Get yourself around like minded people who exercise daily. 3) Anyone not…

Two orders to go please. Looks good.

Do any exercise you feel you can continue doing and have fun. Find a walking buddy and set some goals!

All I know is when my patients do not get enough protein, their skin starts to break down - this one event gives us all the answer.

I have followed the evolution of coconut oil and it's uses over the last 10 years and use it on my skin as a moisturizer and protectant and also, consume 2 tablespoons daily (in cooking mostly) for brain health (alzheimers prevention). If you are interested in learning more about alzheimers prevention, just g@@gle Dr. Mary…

I couldn't have said it better. Our bodies react differently to processed sugars and sugars that are naturally occurring. Eating an apple is way different then eating a tablespoon of sugar. The glucose response level is way different....!!! :)

Great success. Eating with intention is now the mantra for my life. I don't want to get real heavy again! Good going!
