I struggle to get my protein macros up due to food allergies. I cannot eat any protein bars or protein powers. I am getting…

I LOVE Battle Ropes and Stronglifts 5x5. Battle Ropes are super fun an burn about 10 calories a minute. It is great cardio while burning fat and building muscle at the same time.

If your gym has Battle Ropes or an Endless Rope those are great, especially the Battle Ropes!

I just changed from one Planet Fitness to different one. The new one is WAY more better. It has equipment I have never seen before. As a female I love the fractional dumb bells they have there. I am doing the Stronglifts 5x5 there so I have to do most of it on a Smith Machine.

I do strength training usually on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and two other days of the week I do 30 min of a cardio dance DVD at home. I eat about 1300 calories 5 days a week then a whole lot more at one weekend day. I have an extremely non active desk job. I have been trying to lift the same weight for the past two…

Once I start this program I may cut back a lot or cut out all together the cardio DVD's that I do at home 5-6 days a week for 33 min each night. According to my heart rate monitor I average 250 calories burned each night doing them. Should I cut back on my calorie intake or keep it the same? I forgot to add that I am…

Thank you for all the feed back! I really appreciate it! Now I have a second question. According to my heart rate monitor I average 250 calories burned each night doing them.…

If I MUST stop and get fast food I get Wendy's chili, pre-make all my lunches for the week on Sunday, stock up on lots of yogart and low fat cottage cheese for protein to eat for breakfast and after exercising, eating back half of my exercise calories (that in itself made a huge difference!).

I am 48, 5'2" and was at 171 lbs, now down to 162 lbs in 5-6 weeks. I had to increase my calories from 1200 to 1300-1350 per day in order to start losing more than half a pound per week.
