Agreed. Do not attempt to keep up with the folks on the DVD. Go at your own pace, take breaks when you need to, and most of all, be safe. Your endurance will increase, most definitely.

Best to think of it as a a marathon, not a sprint. Slowly but surely the weight will drop off so long as you eat at a deficit (but, please eat enough to maintain/improve your health...that's what it should be about at the end of the day).

P90X2. Just finished day 4, X2 Total Body & X2 Ab Ripper. Total Body was an absolute, total beast. I haven't paused that much since my first round of P90X. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish it. I had to take a couple of breaks during Ab Ripper, too. A little about my beachbody program experience: I'm 5'5", and…

Week 1, Day 3, P90X2. Where have you been all my life, foam roller?

Finished two rounds of P90X, one round of a P90X/Insanity Hybrid, and started another round of the hybrid (finishing my 3rd Week of Phase 1), all done consecutively. December 27th will be my one year anniversary with doing BeachBody programs. Best of luck.

I'm currently in my fourth consecutive round of P90X (two rounds of P90X, one round of a P90X/Insanity hybrid, and in the second week of another P90X/Insanity hybrid). It definitely does work, but a lot of folks say there are more efficient ways to get in shape, considering that P90X takes an hour to an hour and a half a…

I hated yoga as well, when I first started (in my third consecutive round of P90X, although substituted the cardio workouts with Insanity this last round), but now I really enjoy it. But, stretching is really important. Maybe instead of the Yoga, give X Stretch a shot?

Goals: Gain strength, and maintain weight (fluctuate between 145 and 147), while lower body fat below 10% (hovering at around 12% right now) I'd much rather do programs, especially when it comes to cardio, since I HATE running/jogging.

I used to tape my nipples down every morning before work, because my moobs were so big. If I didn't, their outlines would be easily visible through my shirts...that's right, shirts, PLURAL (undershirt and polo shirt). What can I say? I was keeping things classy.

Age: 33 years old Height: 5' 5" tall No starvation, pretty much an average of 2300 calories a day, high protein, low fat, following the IIFYM diet the past couple of months, and various beach body workouts... Before (January 2013), 177 pounds. Current: 146 pounds

I'd suggest either picking up where you left off, or do the workout schedule for today, and tack the missed workout to the end of the program. Pure cardio is a beast.

Counting calories, eating clean (high protein, low fat...abs are made in the kitchen after all), and working out even when I don't feel like it.

Age: 33 Height: 5'5" Heaviest: 200 Lightest: 145 Current: 146 Goal: I think I'm at my goal at the moment. I'm sure if I tweak a couple of things, I could lose those last five to ten pounds, get down to 7or 8% body fat, but I'm not sure I want to.

You have the rest of your life to get in / stay in shape. It's important to indulge yourself every once in a while, else you'll go crazy.

Yes. I showed my girlfriend whom I've been dating for about a month or so my "before" pics, and she said she said she probably wouldn't have noticed me at all looking the way I used to. Superficial, yeah, but hey, thems are the breaks. She also does crossfit, so being healthy, etc., is a big deal to her.
