It's okay to be hungry.

Oh don't worry...they're regrouping.

Use the Scooby Calculator to figure out your TDEE, and go from there: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ This won't be the end all, be all answer to exactly how many calories you should be eating, but it will give you a good place to start.

Nutrition is 80% of your results. But, anyhow, it's pretty simple. Calories in, calories out. Burn more than you eat, and you will lose body fat. It comes off in layers, and it'll be slow going, but you'll slim down.

Hey Buddy: First, yes, it's absolutely normal and expected that you hit your knees. I'm guessing you started a round of P90X classic, and Chest and Back just rocked your world. Don't worry. You will get better. It won't be easy, but barring injury, keep pushing play every day and progress will come. Before you know it,…

Not a stranger to P90X here. Beginning in January of 2013, I've completed two rounds of P90X Classic, a P90X/Insanity hybrid round, a round of P90X2, and a round of a P90X/P90X2/Insanity hybrid. I'm currently in week 5 ( recovery week) of a P90X2/Insanity: The Asylum hybrid. The prior four weeks have been brutal. I've been…

Anything with enriched flour, and anything with refined sugar. Also cut back a ton on the potatoes. Thank goodness for cheat meals.

Since the beginning of 2013, I've completed 2 full rounds of P90X Classic, 1 round of a P90X/Insanity hybrid, 1 round of P90X2, 1 round of a P90X/P90X2/Asylum hybrid, and I'm currently in Week 4 of a P90X2/Asylum hybrid. Started at 180 pounds, and I'm currently at 150 pounds. Before and after's are in the profile.

If you can get to a track, try one of the workouts here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ask-the-ripped-dude-whats-the-best-form-of-hiit.html Burned 800 calories a session (I'm 5'5" 150 pounds)

33 years old, 5'5" tall, 33 inch waist around the navel, 31/32 pant size. Used to be a bit slimmer, but been bulking a bit. Went from 148 to 153 lbs in the last few months.

It all depends on your goals. If you want to work on your overall fitness, and maybe build a little muscle in the process, I'd suggest going through P90X , the classic schedule, as it's laid out. If you want to strictly lose weight, stick with the cardio stuff. P90X does have a "lean" option, but if you want to go that…

Lost 20 pounds just (from 200 to 180) by changing my diet and jogging a bit. Was stuck at that weight for about nine months, then lost another 30 over a period of 7 months doing home exercise videos. I now try to keep my weight around 150.

33 year old male, 5'5" tall. This is me at my biggest, 200 pounds, in 2010. This is May 24, 2014, at a Memorial Day Weekend BBQ (pardon the adult the beverage), currently 150 pounds.

A minute of jumping jacks at about 50% effort. I do it more as an energy boost in the middle of the day as opposed to extra exercise / calories burned.

I thought about taking on the Asylum, but just don't have the space to do it. You'll need the agility ladder, a jump rope, dumbbells, the strength bands, and about ten feet of space if you want to go through the program without severe modifications. I'll be doing an Asylum/P90X2 hybrid when I have the space to do so. Don't…

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure at the age of 26 (150/115), and was placed on medication. I'm now 33 (will be 34 in September). Started working out at the beginning of 2013, and got my nutrition on track. Blood pressure is 110/65.

If those are your only choices, I'd go with waiting until after your vacation. Any conditioning gains you would have attained after a month will be diminished after a 3 week layoff. It'll take a month just to get back to where you were before you stopped. You could also do the first month, take the three weeks off, and…

Hey folks: Since the beginning of 2013, I've completed two full rounds of P90X, a full round of a P90X/Insanity hybrid, another month of a hybrid round, and I'm one week from completing a round of P90X2. I'll be starting another round of X2 after a short break. Feel free to add me if you like.

Agreed. You're doing too much. You need a recovery week (a week where you do light workouts every other day or so), or a few days in which you don't exercise at all. I'm coming up at to the end of my current beachbody program and I'm definitely going to take a rest week after I'm done.
-
That's something I haven't been willing to do as of yet. I don't drink during the week, but the weekends, I usually have at least a twelve pack. Keep it up.

P90X2 PAP Lower.

1: Pounds Lost: 30 (from 178 pounds to 148) 2: How Long It Took: 8 months (been maintaining since August 2013) 3. How many calories was I eating: 2300 - 2400 4. How many days a week do I work out: 6 days 5: How many calories do I burn: On average, probably between 500 and 600.
-
Now that is absolutely, totally, nucking futs. Amazing job. Well done.

-
Best of luck. When it comes to the Insanity workouts, just do your best. Don't worry about keeping up with the folks on the videos. You'll keep improving with every workout.
-
Honestly, if you're going to take two weeks off from working out, I'd suggest restarting the entire program.

I'm 33 years old, and 5' 5" tall. December 27, 2012: 177 pounds March 7, 2014 : 147 pounds

Here's the link to the P90X/Insanity Hybrid sheet provided by beachbody, giving you their schedule: http://www.teambeachbody.com/home/-/dl_get_file/d35f8de1-d294-4585-9b3a-1d7c5b21c37a Basically, you replace the P90X cardio workouts (P90X Plyometrics and Kenpo) with Insanity workouts The first two phases, you do the…
