I think this may be a little off the mark harlequin? I tend to get the pain whilst running and if i go for further than 3 miles it will subside and go away! it only really bothers me for the first 3 miles of a run I have run 2 half marathons and hundreds of miles in training and the same thing happens it comes on around…

thanks guys for the responses! I think I will go down the strengthening route! as to be honest I haven't really done anything rather than run and cycle. my trainers are new (September) but have done over 150 miles in them so should be broken in!! I did a 5k at the weekend I tried a few things like loosening my shoes etc…
