Sticking to just tracking steps for my first challenge. 5000 steps a day X 30 days = 150,000 steps.

HLaR79, This year really highlighted the focus of food during the holiday season despite the social distancing etc. There was food every day for 2 weeks at work before break. It was so difficult. I hope the Fitbit is a helpful tool for you!

You are so right! 2021 is the year I am going to remember this quote I came across years ago and just rediscovered: There is no such thing in anyone's life as an unimportant day. Alexander Woollcott Every day of 2021 is important.

Time to choose next small goal. I think I will do a 5 minute stretch routine every morning for the next 5 days.

12 days of walking 2 times a day 👍 my knees and ankles are more flexible and less achy!

Does it ever! I already struggle with isolation so the Social distancing and working from home has really fed into my food addiction. And made me feel i am the only one. @HLaR79 Hello! You always inspired me to stick with my goals!

Today is day 8 of my 16 day challenge to walk 2 times a day. Well, I have walked twice a day so far; sometimes I have to make myself go, late and in the dark, but I did it. I have not valid reason for not doing it but I can create lots of rationalizations to put it off. It makes no sense because I enjoy the walks and feel…

My goal today was to log in to MFP after time away focusing on starting Overeaters Anonymous. It has been very helpful (42 lbs down) since January. It's great to see old group members and new!

I do too! I am watching the forecast for tomorrow anxiously; we are in a winter storm warning beginning at 7 a.m. just when I am supposed to leave for work. :#

I'm sore from shoveling snow over and over. 16" this weekend and maybe another 12" Wed. I am so envious that you are gardening! It is such a healthy thing to do for your mind and body.

April 14 and we are in the midst of a (spring) winter storm--rain, sleet, hail, snow, lightning and thunder, strong winds, more snow....it is quite defeating to be housebound at this time of year. Usually I am enjoying outdoor walks but it just is not fun right now.

You two are doing so well! :)

How did the appointment go? will you have surgery? We've had 2 snow days (I'm a teacher) and I have had lots of thinking time. What will I accomplish in 2018?

How are your personal challenges going this month? I am already thinking ahead to what I will set for myself in February when I join you guys. This is a habit that really helps me keep my growth mindset. Keep earning those points!

Congrats! Way to celebrate your success!

Hey it's great to see you are both still here supporting each other! Happy New Year to both of you. I've not logged on for a long time and I have missed our 300+ group!
