@asaw00 Helen Hunt <I"m the female in the pic :)

This is exactly what I do! If I don't do it all, I'll at least log what I need to pack to take to work with me and then log everything but my evening snacks as soon as I get to work.

I have a serious Diet Sun Drop addiction. If you're not from the South...you may not know what this is...but it's basically liquid gold. I've tried to kick this little habit...and just can't seem to. I have cut down though...and just drink one a day...and drink water and Vitamin Water the rest of the day. It's just so…

This was exactly the one I was going to say!! I love John Mayer...been to several concerts....but regardless of your opinion of him...this song is AMAZING!!
-
Looks like more than 17lbs! Nice job!
-
HAHA I was going to write the same thing!! Especially the pic in the cute little black dress! And just FYI- that's a compliment...she's very pretty!

I think for a lot of people the word "toned" almost refers more to the way you LOOK (or want to look) rather than WHAT you are doing to your muscles. When I use that word...I mostly say things like "I'd like to look more toned." As in, I want less flab and things to look a little more "tight." Ninerbuff, I see your point,…

Ok, so I have to admit that I'm one of those people that have used the word "toning" or "toned." I guess I don't get why people get so so upset about it. Couldn't it be looked at as just another word for "conditioning"? For example...some people, instead of saying "I fell asleep" instead say "I passed out." Now, they…

Long story short...I ripped the leg out of a pair of my jeans....blah.
-
I do that with Burt's Bees chapstick...it's seriously like an obsession. And when I apply it...I apply it for like 20 seconds straight....lol
-
Agreed. I think you look much better in your 2nd picture. I think it looks so pitiful to see bones like that!
-
I'm not saying this to give you crap...I'm saying this because I don't want you to develop an unrealistic view of your body. I know for us women it's easy to do...I look in the mirror sometimes and see fatness...while others think I look great. But honestly...you look much too thin. If I were you, I'd welcome a little…

I had a family friend take the shots and she lost a LOT of her hair while on them. That can't be good for you.
-
Well...I didn't lose anything, BUT I could tell a major difference in my body. I'm only 114lbs...so it probably wasn't enough to make me drop weight...but I'm not nearly as flabby now!
-
I don't think that's enough calories. I'm 114lbs and I can't do only 1200 calories a day! And to someone who said her fat was turning into muscle- not correct. If you've only been at this 2 weeks...your fat is NOT turning into muscle. I'm not trying to be mean or discouraging...but just don't want you to be misled. It…

What about Vitamin Water? I drink a lot of that stuff.

Oh...oh my

I'm a lefty! I'm a lefty! Lefty? Leftie? I don't know...you get the point though :)
-
I'm sure much easier said than done.
-
You better believe I'd confront her! Not in a "you b!tch" kind of way...but in a "that was really low...i thought you were more mature than that" kind of way.

Have you recently started using any protein power? I tried Jillian Michael's protein mix a couple weeks ago- thought my stomach was going to explode. Stopped using it and now I'm fine. There must have been something in it that I have an intolerance to.
-
That is fine if that is your goals- personally, I log nothing but actual exercise (no walking- even though I work on a large University campus, no cooking, no cleaning). Everyone has different goals, and if I only cut calories, I would lose weight, but have no definition in my muscles at all- which is what I'm going for. I…

Oh yeah...and this!
-
This! I don't take it personally if you log every little thing you do- but don't do it just to get to eat more...because more than likely you AREN'T burning as many calories as MFP tells you you are. I have my settings set to lightly active so if I log every move I make then I feel like I'm double logging. I mean, if you…
-
Depends on a lot- for instance, what your goals are. For example, I'm 5'1" 114lbs and want to (mayyybbe) drop a few more lbs, but more importantly, lose some fat and gain some muscle. I doubt I would see ANY type of results by walking a few miles a day. If you've got a lot to lose, and aren't very active at the moment,…

5lbs is great! You do a lot of arm work- especially in level 1- so anything heavier and your arms might give out before the work out is over.
-
I'm 5'1" and 114ish- no clue what my body fat is. I changed my settings so that I would net my BMR each day, b/c MFP had mine set at 1200 as well...which I think is a little low. I haven't really been losing much weight, but I have been losing inches.
-
This sounds like something my mother had done several years ago and it was no big deal- and I love her but she can be a whiny butt sometimes hehe :)
-
If you know the calories are too low...then why are you asking this question?? Please, please eat more than that. I don't want to upset you, or be mean about it...but only eating 600-700 calories a day is not healthy. I know for me, I wouldn't even have energy to make it through the day. But in all seriousness, listen to…

I'm in the same boat. This time last year I was around 110lbs, and now I'm 114-115 and looks smaller since I've been working out w/ weights. I know 4 or 5lbs difference doesn't sound like much...but when you're 5'1" it's a lot!
