you don't have to stop eating all of the food you love - you just have to eat it in moderation! read this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants you can do this! you just have to believe in yourself! good luck!

I read and just started New Rules of Lifting for Women - I would highly recommend it! Lots of good info - good luck!

it's important to weigh your food. you have a lot of measurements in your diary of a cup or 1/2 a cup. what is a cup of beef? is it lightly placed into the cup or is it jam packing into the cup so you can get as much as possible? if you weigh it, you'll see what a huge difference a lightly packed cup vs a crammed cup can…

hi - welcome! i'm starting new rules of lifting today  i think it's similar to stronglifts. i've been trying to find a place to get a BodPod reading - would love to hear about your experience after you have it done!
-
i prefer intervals only because i get a great workout in less time. but i usually do a slow jog about once per week. you really can't spot reduce the fat on your thighs and butt though.
-
hi laura - your story is incredible and i applaud you for telling it in such an honest way. alcohol is something i still struggle with from time to time but a combination of therapy and self-will have helped me cut back drastically. you're a real inspiration. keep up the awesome work!

you shouldn't be at less than 1200 net calories -1200 is the absolute minimum you should be aiming for. i wouldn't fret too much over no loss for 1 week - your weight fluctuates every day. as long as you see an overall downward trend, you're on the right track!
-
oh my goodness - these look incredible!!! i might need to make a trip to the foodstore tonight on my way home!

vodka + seltzer + lemon wedge = delishhh :drinker:
-
are you depriving yourself of certain foods? if i do that it just makes me want them more so i do everything in moderation. if you want a cookie everyday, have the cookie - just make sure you fit it into your calories
-
i like to munch on a small handful of nuts if i get hungry. they're a good source of healthy fat and protein and they're yummy! or you could always get in some extra exercise to help offset your meal. but remember, one "splurge" meal isn't going to derail your weight loss!
-
WOW! i hope i look as good as you after 35 pounds!
-
i agree with what everyone else has said - you need to eat more. you're not even eating enough to fuel your body without a workout. you should eat AT LEAST 1200 cals/day and then eat back your exercise calories (or a portion of them). good luck! :flowerforyou:

Thank you Ashlee and Sarah!

It had a lot of great information in it! I would definitely recommend it! :)
-
Thank you both so much! Great tips! I will do a trial run or two to find my starting weight :) I really appreciate your feedback!

Bump - Hoping for some guidance! Pretty please? :flowerforyou:

i totally agree with this! i think a lot of people view weight loss as a temporary diet instead of a lifestyle change. i'm guilty of it myself! i lost a good deal of weight a few years back, was super happy with myself, and then just went back to my old habits. for me, i think maintenance will be harder than the weight…
-
WOW! That's an incredible change for just 7 weeks! You should be really proud of yourself! You're an inspiration!

MFP works if and only if YOU do!

i think it varies greatly from person to person. i had all 4 of mine out at the same time and they were all impacted (under the gums) when they were pulled. i was miserable for about a week - i couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, and was just in agony. having said that, if you need it done, i wouldn't wait. if they grow in…

@jtexas - rock on!

congrats! i would definitely call a 20 pound loss a HUGE success! you go girl! keep up the awesome work!

could your sitter watch your daughter for an extra hour or so a couple times a week so you can get a workout in? or when it gets warmer, take her for walks with you? it's definitely a challenge to find time for yourself, but you are important and worth it! :flowerforyou:

i suppose you could lose weight without eating any vegetables (not that i would recommend that) as long as you eat at a deficit... but there are hundereds of different types of vegetables - you can't find one that you like???
