Right on!! Love seeing these posts versus the average stuff you see here. I crash all the time on the silliest things because I get a wild hair up my butt and want to hit that double or go as fast as I can. In the few short years I've been mountain biking, I can say the risk is totally worth the reward. Confidence and…

I enjoyed this post and it was great to see your transformation. Congratulations and cheers to doing this for yourself and not to impress some girl. :) This is a great inspirational post to see. Thank you!

This sounds like the story of my life. I race mountain bikes, I like strength training and have been practicing yoga for the last 10 years. But recently, I've been on an eating rage... done all the different eating styles (Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian...) until I found happiness back at the start as an Omnivore eating…

I have this same problem. There's always fun sized candy all over the office. Someone brings in a platter of fresh baked cookies from home, donuts in the break room... Those sound great. I have the same problem you've described (big booty, small waist). Dakine makes a great short that's got the velcro on the sides near the back to help with that gap-issue. Dakine Women's Tempest Cycling is the cut that I have three pairs of. I got them on chainlove.com & competitivecyclist.com when they…

A few favorites from my FB food album. Quinoa & mushroom stuffed acorn squash with pesto oven fries. Homemade street tacos like the ones I grew up eating in Los Angeles. Carne Asada with onion cilantro relish. Middle Eastern - Homemade dolmas, homemade baba ghanouj, fresh tabouli, and oven-baked pita chips in olive oil &…

I don't think people are actually feeling guilty, but instead are treating themselves to something they enjoy, despite feeling that it is not usually held in high regard. They find happiness in these "guilty pleasures". Edit: (added my own) That said, mine would be to wander around in Barnes & Noble for hours, take…

There you go. Focus on something positive, get lost in conversation.. and hey, it is Christmas after all! You'll be back at it again to worry about one holiday. Spend time with your loved ones. MFP will be here for you after. :) Merry Christmas.

Mountain biking hands down is my favorite style of cycling. I'm trying out Cyclocross this season and fortunately I have an advantage in the muddy races from my mtb experience, but overall it's not my favorite. I love being in the woods and playing on jumps, logs, drop-offs and just having fun.
