Absolutely agree, it's only bad for me, not for everyone.

My actual evidence is that I have bad side effects when I eat or drink anything with artificial sweeteners like aspartame etc. But that probably doesn't count as health issues.

All of my doctors, dentists and lots of nutritionists say they are not the best choice. Don't know why. They are probably all lying and make things up.

I try to estimate the calories but also chose low calorie foods like fish and veggies or salad with low calorie dressing. I grew up with the idea that going out to restaurants only happens on special occasions like birthday etc. and never a regular thing. So not to much to estimate.

I got a fitbit surge which is wrist. Thanks everyone. I need to eat a little more, never trusted the exercise calorie burn so I was worried to eat to much. Sometimes my HR on my watch jumped to 180 and stayed there for several minutes which is impossible. But I am losing weight every other week.

Maybe A.A. Meetings help.

I do leg exercises with ankle weights every day at home for toning. Found some great you tube videos. I could see a difference after a few weeks.

I am going to Germany in July for 3 weeks to see my mom. I already know she tries to stuff me with all that good food I missed out so long. I don't like the food here in the US very much so it was easy to lose a lot of weight. My plan is to eat everything I like over there but only small portions. No calorie counting. I…

With a total normal BMI you won't be losing so much in one week.

I am convinced I reached my weight set point at BMI 23. Easy to maintain. Easy to lose weight when I gain a bit and hard to lose more weight. It's like my body says: I feel great at exactly this weight. Please don't gain and please don't lose anymore. I believe in a Set Point within the normal BMI Range.

You are old???? LOL!

I just adjusted from 1.400 to 1.200 cal per day. Was plateauing for 3 weeks. Time to eat less.
-
I am 5'4" too and weigh 138 lbs. Also wear mainly size 10. Sometimes 9. I guess it depends on the bone frame too.
-
I have very little to lose and even 100 cal more or less makes a big difference to me. So weighing my food (especially high calorie foods like peanut butter) is super important for me.
-
I make greek turkey burgers. Add crumble feta cheese, spinach, salt and pepper.

Basically lots of protein (eggs. cottage cheese, protein bars, chicken breast), low carbs like lettuce, mixed veggies, Wasabread. I like to scan a lot, not weigh so much. I do exercise a lot, walk about 20.000 steps a day at my job plus 3 to 4 times a week 30 min weight lifting plus walking my dog, running, bike riding,…

I started in March this year with 152 lbs, I weigh 138 lbs right now and my goal weight is 133 lbs by July 1st. I lost 2 -3 lbs per week in the first few weeks. Now I am losing about 1 lbs or less per week. Eating 1300 cal and have a 750 to 1000 cal deficit due to exercise and active job per day. We have the same goal…

I need lots of protein for breakfast, otherwise I snack all day. Breakfast is most important to me. I skip dinner though. Love it when my belly is flat and empty the next morning. Funny how everyone has so different preferences.
-
I definitely get miserable and depressed by eating to much processed sugar. My belly gets bloated and my mood is dropping. Glad you feel better.
-
I have bee eating low sugar for month now. The other day I went significantly over my sugar limit and felt like crap. It felt like I swallowed a huge rock and it couldn't be digested. I guess it has to do with the sudden insulin spike. Don't know.

Think Thin are my favorites.

I thought vlcd is 800 cal a day. I eat 1500. Like I said everyone is losing muscle in a cal. deficit but it wasn't to much according to the gym where I have my measurements taken. As soon as I reach my weight goal, which is in about 4 weeks, I'll eat at maintenance and keep up my strength training to build up muscle. BTW…
-
You eat to many calories. No way you only eat 1000 to 1200 cal for 6 weeks and not lose anything, sorry!
-
Everybody who is losing weight loses lean mass too more or less. I eat 1500 cal and burn 2500 cal a day. Lost a lot of fat and not to much lean mass thanks to high protein/calcium diet plus strength training. Almost at my dream BMI 22. Probably not recommended for most people but I gain muscle through strength training…

With my 1000 cal deficit per day goal I simply can't eat them back. MFP wants you to eat it back I guess.
-
I take Glucomannan. Doesn't give me bloating and keeps me full.
-
Wow, thanks, that's a better deal than capsules. Love this stuff!

Maybe just in Europe, where I lived back then. Nena was pretty hairy.

Wasn't that a thing in the 80's? It's back? Cool!
