I don't have a thyroid problem but I eat a lot of spinach which is another green (along with cruciferous veggies like brussel sprouts and Cauliflower) that they said could stress the thyroid. Small amount of food and also drink some water before starting-room temp and keep water with your during workout. I used to get nausea with my morning workout and then it subsided so I hope yours does to!
