No, @eatmindfully, I don’t write them down, I just mentally run through them. But writing them down is a great idea! It will give me a terrific list to look back on at the end of the year. Plus writing things down is recognized as a great way to remember them. Now I just have to decide if I want to write them down in a…

Denise these are such awesome ideas! I love the focus on gratitude- did you do the GLAD reflection by writing in a journal? I also look forward to following how your work on improving memory!

I have done 4 consecutive days of my 30 day workout. I've done them each morning before work. Now I need to to it on Saturday-it's so much easier when I just do it first thing but I was lazy today. Hoping to report back later that it's done! Everybody keep up the great work! It's inspiring to hear your goals and…

I'm so excited to join this January Challenge! Thank you Denise for bringing me on board! I have been pretty sedentary for the last year and boy to I feel it. Tight clothes, low energy, and a sense of depression. I want to commit to a daily routine that will not take long, but will be a great overall workout that includes…

Denise thank you for sharing your story, and challenging me to be a better version of myself! I have a room in my house that is well-my junk room. And it's very hard for me to walk in there and I only do it when I must. I'm going to go spend fifteen minutes clearing one space in there. If I keep it up all week I think I…

You can make a lentil spread with walnuts that is really delicious-it tastes like pate but only had lentils, onion and walnuts. Also a roasted red veggie and eggplant recipe is amazing-I always get tons of compliments on this one: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/roasted-eggplant-spread-recipe.html

First of all, can YOU notice!? how do you feel? I think you look amazing!!!

It used to bother me. But sugar from fruit (consumed with fiber) is not metabolized the same way. I only worry about added sugars. I no longer track sugar in my macronutrients! I look at Carbs, fats, protein, fiber and sodium :)

Some people have a really strong core naturally so if your core is not strong working on that will help I think-yoga is great for building core strength! I'm not an expert though!

You need to log all your food and open up your diary. It will work!

Made my night--good for you!!!!

Well if possible get the cake out of the house. Drink lots of water or herbal tea. Don't let yourself get so hungry so plan some snacks. Add more high fiber foods (fruits and veggies) as they will help keep you feeling more full. Also remember we tend to be addicted to sugar from eating too much of it-it tends to be in all…

I think you are on the right track. Try opening up your diary? Don't eat processed or high salt foods. Eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, beans and such. You will be amazed with vegetables how much you can eat for so few calories. Plus you are fueling your body! The sugar, salt and chemicals will mess with your cravings.…

Wow best thing ever! Congrats to you both!

Fantastic! YAY YOU! You look AMAZING and I bet you feel it too!

Your eyes are bewitchingly gorgeous!

Stay away from that microwave stuff-it's got some nasty chemicals in it! You could air pop or even oil pop and it's still a way healthier snack than chips. You can use toppings other than butter and salt as well. Have your ver tried nutritional yeast? That's super yummy! Google around for ideas our local arts theatre has…
