I don't disagree. So...why would anyone assume that is the OP's (or anyone's) problem whenever they say something like this?

Why is that the go to opinion for some people on this site?

Thanks everyone!

Hi there, So, I have been on a good kick lately with about 90% of my days over the last month being binge free. I always binge when I am bored and lonely. I feel like the area of my body where my heart/breasts are needs to be filled and only food will fill it enough. If I don't eat then I feel empty. First thing I did was…

I live in Denver. I take long walks with the doggie (snow permitting), and I love to hike. We also have lots of great gyms here, and they do great programs like touch football and softball teams. Welcome!

I am in the same boat. I was with my family for five days and never once wanted a share of the deserts they ate, but if someone eats chips or jerky (or even fried things) in front of me then I droooooooooooool.

I have done a lot of research on this issue. Most articles say the same things: Lose weight slowly, take care of your skin (lotions, exfoliate, etc), exercise, etc. I am worried about this myself. I already have tons of excess skin, and I do plan on getting the surgery, but I am not going to get to my goal weight and then…

I have gone through a lot of different meds. Right now I am on Latuda, and I have been having more good food days than bad! I think Latuda is good, but it's brand new (2 years old) and sooooooooo expensive. $130 dollars with insurance ($730 without). :(

If you are so worried about poop, who changed your kids diapers?

Personally, I don't like when people post pictures of parts of their bodies (specifically the chest sans shirt or the torso with only bikini clothing). I don't want to look at parts of people's bodies. That being said, they have their reasons and motivations for doing it (and I am happy if it works :) ) and, and outside of…

Sorry to hear about the experience. All gyms are different. I understand that you feel down, but we are here to help too. Maybe use the time to get the name of some machines that are available at the gym, and we can help you figure them out :)

I had never heard of the site before. I put in my goal weight and then ten pounds lighter. It was interesting to see it, and I will be interested to see how I compare when I get to my goal weight :)

Why can't it be both? There is an overabundance of unhealthy foods that can be cheaper and easier to get. Society should promote healthier eating and lifestyles, but even if (hopefully when) that does happen, the choice to be healthy still exists. Also, whether one is addicted to food or the feeling of eating or bingeing…

I have ptsd, but even then I am the adult making the choice whether or not to find healthier coping mechanisms than food.

I took everyone's advice. I made healthier choices by asking for chicken and bean. I also asked if they had any nutrition info (but they don't). I wrote down everything I ate and then made my best guesses. I erred on the side of more calories. Thanks everyone!

As a Denverite, it is my duty to say: The food there is inedible. I heard that a billion times before I finally went to Casa Bonita....it's so true though! Cliff Divers though!

We agree :) On a personal note, I have never been a fan of wearing makeup for other people or putting on a fake smile. I prefer to be truthful....I mean, I also know I have to live in society, so I do fake it, but I am not a fan. le sigh.

Is that really all you are fixated on? Ok. she said that but I still agree about the advertising being manipulative. Personally, I don't look at the pictures. The pictures themselves are manipulative. They are taken by professional food photographers. the lighting, the placement, all of that is designed to make the food…

I agree with Pale_Green. I find the advertising manipulative (I feel that way about most advertising). I have seen the list of possible sandwich options and the fine print stating no sauces and no cheese (and I worked in a call center for a big time TV provider. Lots of people don't read fine print). So, yea. Some people…

That evil bread is so cute, I just want to eat it all up!

For me, it was forming the habit. When I have consistency in my life, I feel better all around.

I would suggest drinking lots of water. Whenever I used to drink, drinking some full glasses of water made the tipsy go away. I have a friend who is encouraged to drink at the work place.. I am not a fan myself.

I need both motivation and "nagging" (but a more positive word for it), so I will add you. Never added a friend before though, not sure how good at it I will be. :)

I started personal training Jan 2nd of last year. I wanted to do it end of Nov/Dec, but I had to rearrange some schedules and save up my monies. I went in as a regular resolution, not a New Year's one, but I noted the irony. :) I don't think being frustrated about a crowded gym is bad. I get frustrated sometimes when the…

I don't take lithium anymore, but I am on three other anti-depressants. I have no noticed anything that would make me think my meds are affecting my althletic performance. I drink, on average, 3 liters of water a day and work out pretty hard. I have noticed that my face doesn't get as red and I am less sweaty lately, but I…

I tend to workout 9 times a week. On the days that I do strength training, I also do cardio. I workout with a personal trainer and LOVE weight training. I also love cardio, but I have been getting very bored with my routine lately. I have started to change it up though. Rest days are a MUST. On the weeks that I do not take…

OP, you could have read the other thread and posted there instead of making this passive agressive one. Seems mean spirited.
