bumping as I NEED these exercises!!!!

I didn't find it painful - it wasn't pleasant but not painful - in fact I asked the doctor - "Are you going to fit it in a minute" and she laughed as she'd already done it! She took her time and also I did a lot of relaxation techniques and breathing so I was very relaxed through the process. She also put some local…

I have the MCoil. Which I blamed for weight gain - which frankly was me looking for an excuse - the MR did not put the food in my mouth!!! I love not having any periods!! I am sure you will be absolutely fine on the mini pill.

In my opinion. Its not just about the calorie totals BUT the quality of the food. Over the years of dieting I have figured out that if I eat poor quality food despite being under my calorie intake I just don't lose weight. However if I eat good quality food - lots of veg lean cuts of meat ect I lose weight. I believe that…

I have Zumba for Wii and 30DS. 30DS makes me work harder than Zumba - but Zumba is a bit more fun. 30DS does have a lot of Planks and pushups as the other poster said - but you could modify the planks to be on your forearms rather than your wrists. I find Zumba OK - but not as hard work as a class and I don't work out as…

I am going to watch TV tonight - but to be fair I will be watching (and Doing) 30DS tonight as I can't go to Zumba tonight!!! So sometimes you have to watch TV (but only if you are working out to it!!!!!)

Wet soggy damp Bracknell Berks here!!

personally I think its pushing the boundaries. If I cook chicken - I eat it within two days three at a push. However the smell should tell you! If you cook a chicken I would tend to freeze any left overs. That way you can make it last a bit longer! Doubt if you would die if you ate it! But there is a risk you could be sick!

Freinds, Friends and more friends! I can only put my success on here to the support and motivation I get from the fantastic people on this site! Over the years I have gone to many weight loss classes and paid a premium for being talked at for an hour a week about food! On here I find that everyday there is someone helping…

Thanks guys this is really really helpful advice which is very much appreciated. Hope you all have a lovely weekend. Charlie

What I love about this story is that she is still in her journey. The fact that she has achieved so much and she still has more to do. I find these stories more motivational than the ones that have finished their journey - Amazing lady! Thanks for posting

I wouldn't worry! Its probably because you are losing weight quicker than the goals you set. As you say most of it is baby weight anyway!
-
But I don't agree - its not a breakthrough moment! Sorry - but I think its a series of baby steps and learnings - then you look back and say "OMG I've done something quite amazing!" I started by trying to get two days right out of 7! Then 3 days right out of 7 - you see where I'm going - before long I've got to 7 days…

I have looked through your diary and like some of the others I don't think you are eating enough. I realise I have more weight to lose than you - but when I "upped" my calorie intake I started losing weight! I think that would be a good start - eating 1200 cals per day.. The alternative is to sit tight and eventually your…

This is exactly what has happened to me! Now my other half has joined! Because he's seen the results and he's feeling left out!

Its a tricky one - but just keep reminding yourself who you're doing this for. Its not him! Its YOU! Use this site as your support . If he says something sarcastic or "*****y" just smile - waggle your Butt in front of him and say "but think of what this would look like with some pounds off - wouldn't you like to get your…

I can understand that. I know in an ideal situation you should be able to "plan" your calories but its not always possible. What I would do is give yourself two weeks in learning how many calories are in things, get used to logging the food you are eating and take note on how many calories each thing is. Take a look at…

Well done and you look so much younger!

Sorry couldn't resist!!! Bump!!!

I get two chunks of really dark chocolate (70% cocoa) melt it in the microwave for 10 secs with a teaspoon of skimmed milk (or water) and the dunk in chunks of fruit. Gives me my chocolate fix!!

Funny I asked this a couple of weeks ago. In the end I put my HRM on and "created" the exercise. I earnt about 300 cals per 30 mins I think (i'll check and come back if its different!!)

Dont delete meeee!!!

I have boys so slightly different. My key advice is don't start it until YOU are ready and you can dedicate the time! Its really easy if your daughter goes to nurrsery as peer pressure helps! You need the patience and the time. Its no good trying to do potty training if you have lots of things planned as the kids get side…

I would agree but I use a HRM which is meant to be pretty accurate and I don't lose when I eat my exercise cals. Fundamentally though I think it is very individual.

This is always a tricky one! For many people eating back the exercise calories is essential, otherwise they don't lose weight. The jury's out with me - I find if I eat them back then I don't lose weight. So I am "experimenting" If I exercise and don't eat them back I struggle with energy levels. So I am trying to eat half…

"C25K" Definately a great way to burn calories and something you can do with the kids. (as they get older they come "running" with me as they are on bikes and scooters!!)

Asics for me. Sooo comfortable and light. Give me lots of support and they have lots of options.
