  • I use plain light cream and “skinny syrup” with 0 sugar. Salted caramel is my favorite. The combo is slightly fewer calories than my old flavored creamer and much better carb wise
  • I’m a pre-school teacher. I start back next week and I’m strategizing how I can make sure I always have my own snacks available so I’m not tempted to eat goldfish with the kids. Or at staff meetings. Or take a cup to go at the end of the day. I’m pretty much powerless against goldfish 😳

  • Hood brand, with chive. I won’t eat any other kind!
  • I use light cream and a flavored “skinny syrup”. I get the flavor & creaminess of the flavored creamers I used to use but with much less sugar. I work around these calories in my budget 😊. I NEED my coffee and I don’t enjoy it with a “thin” creamer like skim milk or almond milk.
  • I homeschooled my kids until they were in 6th grade. There are things about the public school experience that we're not thrilled with, such as policies like this. I don't think they are ill-intentioned; more that it stems from having to deal with large numbers of children and families. It's crowd control, and rules…
  • Like many others here, I don't eat them all back, to remedy likely mistakes in the calculation of caloric intake and calorie burn. But I'm always surprised by people who think they're "not supposed to" eat them back. That MFP target is for NET calories!!! If I knew I could log with 100% accuracy, I'd eat them all, all the…
  • OP, how sbout you just use MFP for awhile, concentrate on logging what you eat, getting some exercise, and making healthy food choices *most* of the time. Look at what got you to the point where you need to lose weight (too much junk food? emotional eating? portion control?) and pick an area to improve on. There are…
  • Is it like chia pudding? I make it with chia & almond milk, with a little Splenda & vanilla. I like it, but the texture is definitely a deal breaker for some. My daughter can't get over the "snot factor."
  • First of all give yourself a pat on the back for committing to improve your health! I struggle to buy healthy foods for my family, which includes active, growing teenagers, without breaking the bank. I try to shop carefully for everything, to maximize my grocery budget. So I'll shoot out some some ideas from that…
