I'm 5'1 1/2", want to lose about 7-10# more and am aiming for 1900. I am lifting heavy 2x a week and walking in between. I was running too, but it was too much with the lifting. I just got a BodyMedia Fit, so it's been interesting to see my calorie deficits...

Awesome results! I too have cut back on cardio and am doing the New Rules program - hoping to see similar results! I'm curious - do you still eat at a deficit?

My son is on it with the same effects. He drinks whole milk with a carnation breakfast mixed in every night with dinner. He eats big breakfasts before the meds kick in. He eats a lot of high cal food, but he's a growing kid. :) Id say switch milk, eat peanut butter or other high cal healthy snacks and make yourself have…

This. It took my body almost 6 weeks to regulate back and now I'm back down below my original goal weight. It will work, you will have more energy to enjoy your new healthy life, but you have to give it time and you need to be willing to fuel your body properly.

I had to mess with mine quite a bit too. This week, I'm going to be eating less fruits and veggies (weird, I know) to see if it helps my belly issues. I have severe hypoglycemia and am needing more carbs to balance out my blood sugar.

So, if I can hijack the thread and ask a piggy back question, if I'm doing new rules for women, what do I do next? I was thinking of a cardio phase, while working to maintain heavy lifts. Would this be the same? I guess I'm not bulking, since I'm not eating over, but I've almost eliminated my cardio since it was affecting…

I'll post the specifics later, but since starting March 11, I've lost 5 inches overall! I'm eating between 1800-2100, depending on how hungry wts make me!

For me, working out has made more of a difference than my diet. Limiting caffeine has also been a big factor, but working out and working out HARD (not reading a book while idling pedaling a bike) has made all the difference in the world. I haven't had to take any meds for it for over a year now! :)

Started Stage 3 yesterday...LOVE it!! I tweaked a hammy a bit doing the one legged deadlifts - I think I go too deep? I used 22.5# dumbbells, so when I get parallel, my weights were almost toughing the floor! I hurt the hamstring last year, so I may need to go down in weights so I don't fully pull it again. BWM = WTF…

Bump - I tried to do both and while I am not a distance runner by any stretch, I found that I couldn't do heavy lifting (NRLW4W) and my running. I'm trying to get to the point where I gradually add in slow runs (jogs for most of you, LOL) but I'm not there yet. Good luck!

Omg, I was just searching for this a few days ago. I'm severely hypo and have really been playing around w my macros to find what works for me. This week I tried upping carbs a bit to see if I feel better. Feel free to ask me any ques or friend me! :)

I do, but it sounds like its nowhere as severe as yours. I do mOd my diet as needed for it and while this has been a terrible week bloating wise, it CAN be worked around.
