Thank you everyone. For my mental health, I don't know if a daily reminder is a good or bad thing. :) I definitely agree with the missing food entries though - such a pain!

I did. Feel free to PM me. :)

Do it! :) I have a 58 degree curve and am on the cusp of needing surgery and I am just now slowing down. I live by my foam roller and heating pad. It really depends on where your curve is and what you want to do. For example, I love to squat, but having the rack on my upper back/shoulders KILLS lately, so I have to alter…

Thanks for all the replies! I can't wait to check out these resources!

Those workplay bags are amazing! I'm sure shipping costs would be bad... I found another bag I really like, but it's even more expensive and its a mma bag. I have really severe scoliosis, so it's important that I find a backpack style...I'm pretty anal retentive about my gym bag. Lol!!

Thanks so much guys - I'm going to check those out now!

Bump for future reference..

Thank you SO much for this!!!

OMG. LOVE. Can't wait for it to start. Since I'm a teacher and have 3 weeks of vacation left, may do some research before the draft. I won league one year, hubs won one too, but it's been a few seasons drought for us. Excited!!

Bump

Count me it too - I'm planning to do the same!

Do the NR program. Join the group. Ask questions. DON'T let it intimidate you. :) We were all beginners once. I am struggling with dropping cardio, because that's what helped me lose most of my weight. It isn't helping me lose the last bit of weight. LOL Lift heavy, build up lean muscle mass and eat to fuel your body and…

OMG. I have nothing to add, other than I could have written this post. Same height, almost exact same starting weight. Same stuckedness too. I'm off to friend you...

This. I'm with you - I've been feeling AWFUL lately and have been trying to figure out why. I've been feeling marginally better, but it's from reducing my veggies. I hate to do it, but I hate feeling like my gut will rip open from bloating more.

OMG - that is hilarious!! And I happen to still love watching this movie!
-
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking. Thanks for chiming in everyone! :)

AMAZING JOB!! You look fantastic!

Nice job!! :)

I'm sure this has already been mentioned, but New Rules of Lifting Weights for Women. Get the book from the library if you have to, join the group, print out the workout sheets. If you don't know the exercises, there are tons of links in the group to YouTube vids of how to do them. It's a very structured program, which I…

Interesting to see the different responses. I would like to not have to be so crazy and anal about calories, but it's terrifying. LOL

I do running with the program too, but there was a time that I had to stop running because it was affecting my lifts. I thought I read somewhere that as long as you keep the miles low (3 miles or less) it shouldn't affect your lifts too much. I am going through C25K again to try and get faster, so I do that 2x, intervals…

Was the first workout really, really short for you guys? Like, so short it made you nervous? :) And my badonkadonk is sore, which hasn't happened in ages. Thank you barbell split squats!! ETA: I'm so jealous of you guys - I thought I was adding strength, but I'm not sure I'll get a full pull up before the end of the phase.…

Thanks for the replies everyone! It's an actual allergy, so no milk or wheat products at all, including whey. :( I'm doing research on it, but it's always nice to hear what other eat too! :)

It's meant to be a tool - it isn't a heart rate monitor, so it won't tell you the info you want accurately if you only wear it for the workout. If you wear it all day, you can set it to record your workout or you can go to the activity manager and look at the cals during your workout. If you don't wear it all the time, it…

For me I think there has been a huge difference, but it could be the combo of losing weight and eating better. To me, eating clean means less processed foods and more from natural sources. I second the cravings - if I eat more crap, I crave more crap.
-
I use my HRM to calculate instead of my BMF - it seems like they should be pretty close. Sometimes they are within 10-40 cals, other times they are off by 100's. I go by my HRM for adding in my exercise cals.

I totally eat the same thing all the time. It's a necessity with the food allergies I have. Bfast is an egg w/ 1/3 cup egg whites, turkey sausage, oatmeal and coffee. Lunch is the previous nights left overs with either steamed broccoli or zucchini or a tomato. Dinner is one of 40 choices (we have a dinner list) and…

Just sent you a request. :)

Once you get your TDEE, you don't really have to worry about exercise cals because it already calculates it for you. Just eat the same (at your cut %) daily. :)

So happy to see another lifting success story - keep up the good work! You look fab!!
