Hey all!

I'm looking for some creativity here. I have food allergies and eat the same thing pretty much every day for breakfast. I decided today that I need to mix it up.

I can't have ANY dairy, wheat, yeast, lettuce, spinach, almonds. So, no Greek yogurt, no cottage cheese, etc.

Here's what I eat:
1/2 c oatmeal
2 tsp brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 c egg white
1 turkey sausage patty (or turkey crumble or bacon)

I don't want to cut out carbs (I'm severely hypoglycemic and need them in the am) and want to keep the protein levels up too.

Suggestions? :)

How about switching up the grains? Use rice or quinoa but use apple juice instead of water, add dried fruit and nuts/seeds.
How about soy product? soy cheese, soy yogurt, soy milk. Also coconut milk!

Barley Pancakes or Waffels makes 8-10:

    1 cup barley flour
    1 cup oat flour
1 TBSP Non aluminum baking powder
1 Tsp (or less) sea salt
    2 TBSP honey
    2 TBSP oil
    2 eggs (or substitute)
    1 1/2 cup soy milk
    2 TSP vanilla extract

Mix until batter is smooth, cook on lightly oiled skillet at medium heat.

You can get lactofree dairy products for an intolerance to milk. Or is it an ACTUAL allergy?

Strawberry banana smoothie made with almond, flax, or soy milk and soy protein powder.

I use 3 oz. frozen strawberries, 1 banana, 1/8 cup of water, 2 ice cubes, 1/3 cup of milk, and a scoop of vanilla protein powder.

    CHECK OUT THIS WEBSITE....

The one I have in mind is the no bake replacement bars- they are like no bake cookies. IF you can use whey protein, then you can make these. INSTEAD of milk, I used 8oz of water w/ my vanilla protein powder.

Best wishes!! If I think of anything more, I'll holler!!

    Thanks for the replies everyone!

It's an actual allergy, so no milk or wheat products at all, including whey. :(

I'm doing research on it, but it's always nice to hear what other eat too! :)
