I turn 30 this year and I have noticed a difference, BUT with some serious increase in excerise I have helped my metabolism speed back up. You must excerise hard core....You should be doing at least 60-90 minutes of cardio a day....don't give up you can achieve your goal. NO PAIN NO GAIN.

Lots of cardio. They say that low impact workouts are suppose to burn fat. I would also include some abdominal excerises and strength training. Those last two things have helped decrease the amount of back fat and side fat around my ab area.

Hello Everyone- Day 1 is complete. I actually did 60 minutes of strength training and 50 minutes of treadmill 473 calories Sort of sad because it was lower than I wanted. I got to kick it up tomorrow. I drank my water too...only 6 glasses.

Yes, I believe you are gaining muscle. I have noticed that I am losing inches but the weight is coming off slowly. That is what is more than likely happening.

Go Army!!! YES I have had this happen to me too. Two weeks ago I had a 4 pound flux but was able to make some adjustments to get it back off. Things to consider; how many sodium are you taking in, what time of the month was it. During my time I will retain up to about 10 pounds of just water weight...it drives me crazy.

The great thing about myfitness pal is it can gauge how many calories you have burned. Go to excersice find cardiovascular and type in cleaning. It will give you how many calories you have burned.
