Waist and stomach. I just told a friend today, I actually have a distinct separation of boobs and belly. I had gotten to the point that it was kind of a big slope from the top down. Now I have 2 rolls, one being boob line, the other belly. But they are clearly separate, lol

Glad I saw this! Never occurred to me that I might need anything. Just ordered a roadID. Here's a neat thing...at the end of my transaction, I was given a code to share that if anyone uses it, I get credited $10 toward their products. If everyone that orders shares their code and it gets used once and that person shares…

Almost anything Abba believe it or not. The pace is consistent and because I know all the songs, I'm not totally distracted from what I'm supposed to be doing. :)

This isn't one of those beach body type challenges is it? What kinds of challenges? Think I'm interested but want to get a better sense of what it is... Thanks!

THIS! My youngest is finishing high school so I'm not so wrapped up in mom duties, but I have a very demanding full time job. I have learned to prioritize at work, and offer no apologies at home when dinner isn't made for everyone because I get home later after going to exercise after work. I make no plans early in the…

Me too, and yes! No other relaxation quite like it. Without thinking about letting go of stress, it just kind of disappears somewhere along the way. :)

I was hooked as soon as I could run 1/2 a mile. However...I'm still new and only a walk/runner. But I am hooked, and can't wait til I can really run a respectable distance.

I hate the elliptical because I've yet to find one that feels natural. The stride is a set length (maybe there are some that are adjustable but I've not used one), and to me it always feels jerky, either too short or too long, usually too short. I call it a hell-iptical. Treadmill I can do pretty much every day if…

LOL, I LIKE you! :drinker: Also, sorry about your Dad. :frown:

I found a workout buddy who is counting on me for motivation as much as I'm counting on her. I never thought I would like a workout buddy but it has worked out really well. For the first 15 minutes we catch up on our lives, then settle into our own routines without talking (by then we're saving our breath for the workout).…

4 things: 1) drink my water...lots of water...a full glass (12 or 16 oz) before giving in to a craving 2) log it before I eat it. Play around with portions and see the calorie differences...decide if it's worth it to you and how much you are willing and/or want to have once you see the numbers 3) Log my usual physical…

Thank you, I will read that. I truly am curious to learn more. I'm nobody to judge, as what someone else does has no bearing on my scale. :)

I am not eating low carb. I have seen dozens of posts by members who say they are eating low carb so fruit is not an option, but they do partake of ice cream and chocolate whenever they feel like it. Perhaps they are not following any specific plan. I am not bashing anyone's choices, simply trying to understand the logic…

to clarify, I will never do this unless hospitalized and they won't bring me any fruit! ;) I just have seen so many posts and comments about low carb, but the common thread is crap food is A-OK and fruit isn't an option. I just want to know WHY people think this is a reasonable approach to a healthy lifestyle.

It's an evolution, but the best motivation is to not focus on the weight. Focus on living like the smaller, healthier, fitter you that you want to (re)become. Eat like a healthier, smaller person. Be active like a healthier, smaller person. Get the mind right, and the rest will follow. Theoretically, I could lose my 100…

Just a hunch but I think she means artificial sweeteners (sweet n low and the like)

I have a problem with all chocolate also...cake, cookies, ice cream, candy bars, brownies. I generally have one of these things every day, sometimes 1 1/2 or even 2 on a particularly rough day. But, I also try to burn off at least that much in exercise so I can still get the nutrition I need from other foods. I have also…

Best. Cup. Ever. I should go shopping today...

Well YUM!!!!

2 bananas, a 5K, and an orange. :glasses:

Wanted to say thank you. I found a 5k this morning at the last minute. First one I've attempted anything but a walk. Finished around 41 mins, dead last, but I'm proud to have done it. I tried your breathing tip but too late. It did help and I'll get used to it. It was 42 degrees and damp so the fact I did it at all is an…

The stuff nightmares are made of for sure.

The eyes of these not so much but those Bratz feet!! The shoes are their feet, and without shoes they are all stump! Funny thing, I have a brother who really does have 2 stumps and it doesn't bother me because there is a reason. But WHY would they do that with a TOY? Plastic stumps with a peg sticking out the bottom.…

I am not going to quote all of the things you are saying that I also fear but let me say this. I'm basically a walking bundle of fear and should probably qualify for disability benefits. How I get through life is starting to become an amazement.

Ewwww....you poor thing!! Yes, that stuff feels gross! spongy, rubbery, sticky...blech!!!
