  • Please, I'm not obese, I'm not even overweight. And of course I have set my height, weight, age, etc I would really like to hear from someone who is an expert in this. I can do my own online research and I'm not interested in hypothetical guesses. This is a very highly regarded product and so I'm very surprised how…
  • I am using my iPhone and the Polar Beat app. I also have a Polar FT7 watch and a chest strap and the reading is the same. I get around 900 calories after a brisk 6m walk (1hr 15min). That's impossible.
  • There is no one answer to your question. Calories burned depend on how hard each individual pushes during each workout session, their age, height, weight, general health conditions, etc. I'd recommend investing into a heart rate monitor, it's really awesome and motives me each time I workout to push harder. Good luck!
  • Ha. Good then. Good luck!!!

  • You're planning on doing T25 AND Insanity at the same time? You're going to kill your body.

  • JM, running and count calories. You should not make any real long term weight loss plans without strength training, cardio and permanent diet changes.
  • The most efficient workout does not always mean the most possible calories burnt. But to answer your question: the higher your heart rate gets, the more calories you will burn.
  • Wear a heart rate monitor.
  • T25 is amazing and so far the best workout program I have completed. Alpha is more cardio heavy but it prepares you for Beta which has more strength training and uses weights. Gamma is mainly strength training and is awesome. I really felt a big difference during Gamma and would sometimes add an odd Speed 2.0 cardio…

  • I completed the first month of Insanity. Started the second one and one week later went back to Level 1. Level 2 was too uncomfortable for me, I did not get a good workout out of it, just got frustrated with myself and with "how the heck am I supposed to keep up??". I never went back to level 2. So I feel like I failed.…
  • Thanks! I will check it out. :D
  • All of you who eat crazy amounts of protein, check back with me in 20 years. That's all I have to say, as this is not the subject I came here to discuss and if you need more info there's tons of it if you do your research. And it terms of all the advice on the the upper thighs, thank you so much, everyone. I will continue…
  • Please, do some research first. You just advised someone to get very very sick. NO ONE needs 100g of protein a day (unless you're a professional athlete). This is very unhealthy. And if you don't know anything about a vegan diet, please refrain from commenting as well.
  • Thanks! Will do! :D
  • I'm surprised to read that you find hoop more strenuous than pole. What level Hoop and Pole are you? I do both as well, and I'd say in 1.5hrs of pole I burn 400cal and definitely less in hoop. It all depends on the routine and your level. Wear a heart rate monitor during one of your hoop sessions and it will give you a…
  • Thank you all, it helps reading your responses. My expectations are not non-realistic. I don't care if my thighs shrink in size, I just want them to be toned and right now they look like they belong to a couch potato. I've had stretch marks in my inner thighs since I've been 13. I shot up to be 5'9 in my early teens and…
