Hey I'm UK, Poole to be exact. Been on MFP since Sept last year, did really well initially then began to fall off the wagon a bit. Doing the whole30 lifestyle change at the moment so could be in for some tough times re cravings etc - would appreciate the extra support. Have been a bit off/on MFP recently but am committing…

add me! 25Ibs would put me pretty much where I want to be but I'm struggling after losing my first 14. Any extra support/encouragement would be very welcome :)

You look great :) amazing job!

I hear you here, I don't actively mention I'm on a diet but that doesn't really stop the comments, my favourite is the suggestion that I'm becoming 'obsessed'. Usually I stop short of suggesting that obesessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated haha ;) seriously though I think no thank you should more…

If I'm honest I have to go with the 'it's what you eat everyday not on one day' so therefore if you ate a can of pringles in addition to your normal intake I would say overall it wouldn't cause you to gain weight in the short term. Maybe over the course of a year or so a can of pringles extra a month might cause some…

Hey, feel free to add me, I'm 5,5 - 154Ibs. Want to lose another 24Ibs maybe but struggling to stay on the wagon after the first 14Ibs lost. Lets get motivated! Billy x

I would say just don't go down the forgiveness route at all, after all there are far more important things in life to allocate forgiveness to. I work on a premise that it's what you eat everyday not just on one day. If you fall off the wagon just get straight back on it the next day Billy x

whilst to my knowlege I haven't been abused for my weight it never ceases to amaze me how lacking in self awareness that people can be that these words actually fall out of their mouths. I cannot comprehend the idea that I would look at someone and openly give mt opinion on their size. It's your business and whilst I would…

In my experience alcohol has played a big part in gaining pounds that combined with the foods I want to eat when I've had a drink and the foods I feel I need when I have a hangover! Like you I can do without alcohol but when I do drink I have a tendency to go overboard. Alcoholism doesn't just constitute having a life…

Morning Uk losers! :) what does everyone's day hold? I'm off to uni and have my (calorie counted) lunch all packed so no temptation to buy anything naughty. Feeling quite pleased as I'm another Ib down :) 1 more Ib and I'll be reposting a new weight hurray! Have a great day all x

for me I think it's having the bigger picture ie end goal in my mind but at the same time congratulating myself on the small goals/losses I achieve along the as well as remembering how less healthy I felt at my biggest weight. 5Ibs will become the next 5Ibs and so on. Any loss is a loss and should be viewed as an…

I'm 154 now and aiming for about 130 I think although might reevaluate once I get there. Tbh I think lower would be too low for my frame Billy x

It's just an idea but it occurred to me that in 30 day shred they do this punching exercise which is basically just punching to your front and although they do it standing with bent knees it could be done in a sitting position. It's considered a cardio exercise Billy x

I've done Atkins a few times in my life with varying degrees of success and if there's one thing I've learnt is that if you genuinely can stick to it and be mega strict it really does work. However I also think that as a lifestyle and I believe Atkins is designed as such (rather than a stop gap diet) it is just way too…

hello! welcome back! I know what you mean it can be frustrating logging everything (especially if you've gone overboard) on a daily basis. However like you said you've shown that historically it has worked for you so maybe it's just down to accepting that it's just part of your life at the moment? Quite possibly…

Just thought I would add a note to say well done for starting your journey and many condolences on the loss of your father. I am not aiming for 100Ib weight loss but I do have a similar issue in a way in that I can imagine my goal but wonder whether I'll be satisfied when I reach it? Who will I be if I'm not losing weight?…

Can I just say ktsmom430 that 156Ibs lost is a huge achievement and one of which you should be very proud :) very well done - keep doing what you're doing! :) Billy
