I wear an HRM (chest strap kind) to every class! It tells me exactly how many calories I burn. Love Zumba and love my HRM!

Just close your eyes and imagine how much better your life and health will be in 1 year. I know it seems like a long ways away, but believe me it will go by fast. Stick to it and you WILL see results. Remember you didn't gain all the weight over night so you can't expect to loose it over night either. YOU CAN DO IT.…

I am 5'3" and all the exercise I've done is Zumba. When I first started last January, I would go for walks, but didn't like the alone time. I started Zumba in April and that is all the exercise I've done. I do have bat wing arms but easy to hide under clothes or by not lifting my arms and shaking them around. haha

I am sitting here just crying my eyes out with all your wonderful praise! Thank you all :flowerforyou:

I really never looked at the measurement places on MFP. I measured in five areas. 1. Neck 2. Upper Arms 3. Belly 4. Tighs 5. Right under Breasts

I had it for almost 2 years and did not have weight gain. I did most of my weight loss with it still with me. I had it removed in December because it was causing too much spotting. Never had migraines with it. Had tubal ligation. No worries! Every body is different, I agree.

If you like tuna, Star Kist has a tuna lunch kit (210 calories). I usually take some carrots or fiber bar or chips to eat it with.

I've hit my 100 lb loss on 1200 calories per day! Took me less than 1 year. This Jan 18th will be my 1 year anniversary with MFP and I will keep on going. I am still wanting to loose another 10 lbs, then comes maintenance. I am very curious to see how many calories I get after I change my stats, maybe it'll keep me at…

I've decided to try the Timex T5J983. I saw it at a local Academy for $99. but ordered it off of Amazon for $66. I will let you know what I think about it and how it works. Amazon will let you return (free shipping) if not happy with product. I am also sending my Polar off for "repair", will wait and see about that one. I…

I weigh and measure EVERYTHING when I'm at home. Keeps me true to my calorie counts. Bought a food scale at Walmart for $20.

Thank you! Thank you!

Maybe I bought a bad one? I'm trying to get some help from Polar to see if they will take care of this for me, but all they say is "send it in and we will check it". I have to pay shipping to them and then more shipping ($7.95) to get it shipped back to me. I don't think this is fair when I only used it for an average of 2…

I liked it alot too BUT it only lasted 6 months. Reese - how long have you had yours?

I bought the Polar F6 in May 2010 ($100) with chest strap. Loved it's accuracy BUT stopped working in December and cannot replace battery. You have to purchase a whole new transmitter. The battery is guaranteed for 2500 hours, I might of used it for 50 hours, too bad, so sorry. No warranty on battery life! Make sure you…

I gave up Yogurt also when I started looking at sugar grams. I switched to 90 cal Fiber One chocolate bars for my sweet cravings. I believe the Weight Watchers yogurt has less sugar, but you might double check that while at your next grocery shopping spree. More expensive but satisfying.

Welcome and good luck!

Hopefully you won't have to get one one. Good luck to you and I'm watching! 8-)
