Congratulations Brittony and welcome baby Emma! Sorry i've been MIA for a while ladies, been having extreme exhaustion and constant nausea for last few weeks which mmeans i've been in bed at 7pm every night! However a scan today has shown i'm having twins...double the symptoms obviously! I am very surprised as twins does…

Julie - my cocker spaniel used to chew diapers as well which he fished out of the trash, he used to eat the poop until we caught him and now all the dirty ones go in the outside trash bin straight away...yuck! He never suffered though I'm not sure if he ate the gel but I'm sure your dog will be fine in a couple of days. We…

Annabelle - yes thank you it took us a couple of months to get pregnant again and we are over the moon. So this little one should be due in February. All of you look so cute in your pictures - and its so nice to see some faces, some of you don't show them often enough and you're all so beautiful too! Sheri - I hope that…

I'm in love with little Gabriel Alexander's name, I'm glad that you did so well with the birth. I agree the gas can make you spaced out and although you still feel the pain you don't seem to feel it as much. Sometimes when I had too much of the gas it used to make sounds and things sound broken up like your brain was doing…

Hello ladies hope everyone is well Lynn can I just say your son is adorable!!! Congratulations and treasure every moment because they do grow so fast (just ask the other ladies) Hope that you have a safe trip home and plenty of rest xxx

Rachael - when I lost my mucous plug before its looked like orangey jello mucous I started getting pieces for a while and then a whole big blob at once. Its a good sign that your cervix is starting to thin out and stretch to get ready for labour but its not a reliable sign that labour is going to be any time soon so don't…

Hi Brittony Just to reassure you that my son was breach/transverse pretty much all though my pregnancy until my waters broke at 36+2 and I was scanned and there he was head down and ready to go. There is hope for you to have a natural birth. There are some positions you can try on spinningbabies.com to help encourage emma…

Lynn - Good luck with the birth and I'm keeping you in my thoughts...FXd everything goes well and Josh will be in your arms before you know it! Jamie - thanks for the heads up on the shape ups, I have seen the tv ads but was a bit sceptical about whether they work or not but I think my legs could do with a bit of shaping…

Hello everyone, thank you for all your congratulations and good wishes, we are still on cloud 9 here! I just used sensitive baby wipes and never had any problems with them. I prefer the ones enriched with cocoa butter which smell good enough to eat! Any news on Mel???

Me too, trying to be very positive, feel very nauseous so that is such a good sign that I didn't have last one so I'm keeping everything crossed for now. Hopefully I'm going to be able to get an early US to check everything is ok around 6 or 7 weeks.

Hi ladies, Hope mel is ok, and gets the VBAC, hopefully she will as she is a very strong fit woman. Lynn, glad you've got your antibiotics sorted and hope you get plenty of rest and put your feet up when you can because you need to save that energy now for the birth :o) Well....I've got my BFP at 9DPO today, looks like I…

They don't even check your cervix over here unless you are in labour and having active contractions or they do a sweep if you go overdue or need to be induced for some reason. It seems totally unnecessary to me because some ladies will have a slightly opened cervix towards the end of pregnancy (particularly if they are not…

Little Spy - head down is good, when I was carrying DD she poked her bum out so much I got extra stretch marks on the right side where she hung out! RFrick - what I would give to be able to sit down in peace and quiet once in a while and not have to coral my kids! Question - how do you remove wax crayon from a window pane?…

Hello Everyone, I should have explained earlier (on page 3) that when you asked me to join this fabulous group I had just gone on holiday and was on my mobile phone, it was so hard to write anything on there so now I'm home I've caught up! Still waiting for my BFP but hopefully it won't take too long...staying positive for…

No you don't need a breast pump, hand expressing is easy but time consuming, a hand pump would be easier for occasional use and not so expensive. Btw i've had 3 kids naturally, 2 9lb 6oz, one 7lb 10oz no tears, episiotomies or anything. The best thing to do is to listen as you are pushing to the nurse/midwife and…

Hello ladies! I feel honoured to have been asked to join this thread, I miss you guys so much but have been feeling down since leaving you all. I hope to be back to the pregnancy group soon but this TTC business is hard! I was upset when all our efforts last month ended up in a bfn and felt a bit of a fraud hanging around…

Hello Ladies, Just checking in with you all, still on our TTC mission and hopefully we will find out if may is our month in the next few days, been feeling pretty tired and nauseous on and off the last couple of days so who knows it might be a BFP! Have read 10 pages to catch up and i can't possibly hold that much…

Hi guys Little spy : love your nursery and your handmade decorations, how lovely that you are so artistic! Joonzgirl : that is so unfair that you are being charged more for the same products just by living over a border. Perhaps you could do a day trip or look for a alternative retailer in canada. Do you not know anyone in…

The dizziness is probably to do with a sudden drop in your blood pressure which can happen because of the dilation of your blood vessels by your pregnancy hormones. I suffered with this when I was pregnant with my first, fainted a couple of times in the middle of conversations too (quite embarrassing at the time lol). Best…

We had some great weather here today so took the family to a place called Dunham Massey, an 18th century manor house with a deer park and lovely gardens. Took loads of great pictures of the kids and the countryside. However I have managed to catch too much sun even though I had factor 30 sun lotion on! I look like a…
