looked at the tags....balanca collection by marinka. will never buy another type of workout capri. (although calvin klein is pretty good too)

there's a brand at tj maxx and marshalls that I buy all my pants from. I can't think of the name and it's driving me nuts! the logo looks like a sidways spring almost. anyway, they are fantastic. they have a high waist which sucks in my pooch, they stay in place, and they make my butt looks good!

When I look at average times for the races I've done it's usually 32-35 mins. 31 mins is a pretty decent pace, especially for first timers!

Funny: I was running around the neighborhood and totally wiped out on the corner of literally the biggest intersection in the city....right before the light turned green....so there were a **** ton of cars there. best part of the story was the song on my ipod when it happened...."knock you down" by keri hilson. so fitting.

my next tat will probably be a wing on my ankle right above my shoe/sock line (like a winged shoe) for when I win overall female in a race. whether that's ever going to happen is the question....

My fiance favors my *kitten*, but he doesn't mind my boobs either.

I grew up on 2%, moved to skim, but now I drink unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and I love it. I had some cereal with skim milk the other day and it was soooo sweet.

workout tights. No undies. I don't know how I ever ran in shorts before.

I honestly hated P90X (other than plyos). I'm an old fashioned gym girl and the quickness of the workouts just wasn't for me. It seemed like they were trying to up the pace so it was almost like cardio and weight lifting put together. I love cardio and I love lifting, but when I lift I like to lift as heavy as possible and…

I would say it depends on your fitness level and your goals for the race. If your fitness level is relatively low but you wanna do well then I would say get some training in. If you're in good shape I would say the week off isn't going to kill you.

I'm this way with shoes. I stopped buying cute workout tops cause I prefer my old cut off tshirts. =)

the FT40 doesn't have the training programs and you can buy GPS ans speed sensors for the FT60.
-
I'm the same way. When I'm jogging, my HR gets up at least into the 160's unless I purposely go extra slow to keep it down. I don't feel like I'm dying either. I would say it's ok, but don't do it EVERY DAY.

gonna try to answer all the questions I saw.... get a chest strap. they're much more accurate. FT7 is waterproof, but don't press the buttons underwater. FT4s and FT7s only keep track of cals burned. FT40s and FT60s will break down time in each of the 3 zones and will tell you how many cals burned are from fat. The 40s and…

I usually find mine is 160-175 when I jog (about 9:30 mile pace) unless I'm purposely going extra slow to hit some time in zone 2. my racing pace can easily get me up in the 180s, sometimes 190s.

just went for my first dress fitting yesterday....I'm getting so close! under 3 months!!

getting married July 19th. haven't lost the weight like I wanted too, but it works out because of right now my dress fits me perfectly (minus being too long) so I'm gonna save some money on alterations! lol

I would say you could do both, but you'd have to eat A LOT to make up for the cardio plus making gains. I personally do a good amount of cardio but I still lift occasionally (mainly cause I like to lift heavy stuff, not to necessarily build muscle) and I've still seen muscle gains.
-
If you're running a fever I would say don't do it.
-
Agreed. Cleaning, yard work, shopping, etc. is just part of life.
-
I find it pretty motivating. And it's totally changed the way I train. I used to go 100% everytime and I'd burn myself out. The ft60 made me realize that I need to hit all 3 zones when I workout.
-
I used to have a Polar FT7. It did it's job....counted cals burned and kept track of HR. Now I have the FT60 and I am so glad I made the switch. The FT60 gives me a workout plan based on my goals. It gives me a certain # of cals to burn and a time goal for each zone that I should reach each week...which is super…

I like MIO or the lipton iced tea packets.

now I don't feel so bad. I thought my caffiene level was high at about 280mg!

used to drink skim, but switched over to unsweetened almond milk....and I'm never going back.

instead of creamer, use some skim milk and a little vanilla protein.
