I just started using the squat rack the other day. while i don't think there's anything wrong with the smith machine it is a totally different feel. i think the smith machine makes it feel more like you are doing a leg press instead of a squat since it limits your range of motion and you don't have to work on balancing…

my next 5k will be on may 26th. I'll be aiming to finish quicker than my first 5k which was 23:02. my next goal is to get sub 20:00, then sub 18:00. but obviously my ultimate goal is to freakin' win one! =)
