I was diagnosed with UC in May and my doc put me on asacol right away. I haven't noticed any weird side effects, and I've been feeling good. Good luck with it :)

One really easy way to do it- microwave for about 5 minutes or so, peel the skin off (careful it'll be really hot!), then cut into cubes / take the seeds out. microwave for a few more minutes checking every minute or so to see if they are soft. it's done once its soft enough to mash. add a little butter and some cinnamon,…

I eat some back but not all of them. How much depends on how hungry I'm feeling. MFP and cardio machines usually overestimate how much you burn so I try to take that into consideration with how much I eat back

you could be gaining muscle, it weighs more than fat. having more muscles means your body naturally burns more calories so that's a good thing!
